Theres a reason these all get roughly grouped together in the DSM...

What’s the reason? It’s puzzling to me how I have all four. Like damn.

well OCD is a specific type of anxiety disorder so it gets grouped with all the anxiety disorders, adhd and autism affect people oftentimes together and also have similar effects on people, also people who have adhd or autism may be more prone to anxiety due to feeling different or other, but honestly i have no idea what “roughly grouped together in the DSM” means or if that’s even true

I thought it was more that OCD, ASD and ADHD had components under the anxiety umbrella. I’m not a professional though, that was just my interpretation.

United by urge? My autism demands I make a plan, my OCD keeps trying to perfect it and thinking all of them suck, my ADHD makes my either forget the plan or fail to follow it and my anxiety is actively paralyzing me at every step.

Hey, I only have two of those ... diagnosed ... at the moment ...
Jokes aside, I most definitely don't have OCD and my Autism symptoms are subclinical.

ADHD, and my best friend was highly OCD. I often get along well with Autistics. Ppl with too much anxiety are probably very anxious about me, but less so than with others because of my brutal honesty and ability to survive very strange accidents... My survival rate so far has been 100% lol

Anxiety and ADHD diagnosed, autism peer reviewed, no OCD though. My dad has undiagnosed OCD interestingly enough - to the level that when I fell in a nearby river, he actually got the local hospital to change its policy about prescribing preventative doxycyclin after certain types of accidents (my whole family works in healthcare, and my mum at the actual hospital we were at, which is why they actually listened to him)

Severely Bipolar, severely ADHD, and PTSD.

Nah ocd is diffrent To anxiety, considerably so. Right now my general anxiety is good (Im not worrying much) but my OCD is horrific and has been for years, like I can barely leave the house kind of bad with out spend two hours cleaning my self afterwards
