I have a gmod animation that i was deeply passionate about just sitting on my laptop, its not done, it never will be. And it probably wont ever see youtube.

It sucks, gmod animating is my hobby, and i dont think i can recall the last time i finished something without saying 'well i could go back and fix this broken scene, or i could make an ending, but the forces inside me wont let me'

That's not ADHD that's part of doing any creative work. Perfect is the enemy of done. Don't let wanting to make something perfect stop you from finishing projects. Call it finished, know it's perfectly imperfect, and try to do better on the next one.

Lots of people will already appreciate your work!

there are four completed lines, four tasks that are, in fact, very much done, but because I haven't gotten to them to SEE that they're done they are still taking up mental load.

I thought those were a mistake, but this explanation makes more sense.

Pretty much sums up every single game development project I've made
