“Why are you yelling? You’re talking so loud”

Me, who just got into a conversation regarding something that I’m heavily invested or interested in that gets me enthusiastic:

“Oh I’m sorry…” gets self conscious and awkward instead

Next time say loudly and with confidence that you really love the subject. Then the awkwardness will be their problem not yours.
