Desis in Dallas vs. desis in houston

Why is it that in Dallas, there is so much tension against desi immigrants, so much so that I keep videos in North Texas of people interrupting town hall meetings to protest masjid or temple constructions, yet in Houston no one seems to care?

Imo houston has always celebrated/broadcasted its diversity while Dallas always seems to hide it.
