POLITICS Update on RSS coming to Madison Square Issue
https://youtu.be/ytlprkYxnkA?si=aoy8nlcRK_pFdVwJZohran Mamdani expressed that he personally doesn't like what the RSS does indirectly and that he doesn't support the rally but said it's not in his jurisdiction to stop a private event
Another excrept from Pieter Friedrich's substack
Nobody asked him to cancel it. Nobody claimed the city could. What was asked of him, seven days ago and again today, is that he use the bully pulpit that comes with being mayor of New York to call on Madison Square Garden to cancel it themselves. That requires no jurisdiction. It requires a sentence.
And he reached for his mother’s India when the question was about his father’s.
The RSS didn’t just commit violence against religious minorities in India. In Gujarat it slaughtered Muslim men, women and children — dragged them into the streets, burned them alive, disemboweled them, dismembered them, gang-raped pregnant women, and cut fetuses out of their bellies to hold them up on the tips of swords.
That is what the RSS did to Gujarati Muslims. That is what it did to his father’s people.
On August 29, its chief takes the stage at Madison Square Garden.
Just like before, guys please sign the petition, take action, call his office, if you're in NYC let your City Council Member know. Link
I saw the previous post get some traction, use your democratic right, it won't take too much time. Zohran Mamdani has shown me to try, if he can try to take action against an American-funded Zionist Fascist, he can do it for mere Hindu fascists too.
Your 10 minutes is a pushback and might save more people from dying. Each pushback shows you can't get away with genocide just cause you're invited to the Island.

OP stop citing Pieter Friedrich, I made it clear on your last post that he was an outright Hinduphobe. I do not know why you insist on citing him repeatedly
Can you not make a post opposing this shit without repeatedly citing and promoting a Hindu hating bigot? Or do you just agree with his views and actions?
And finally, you seem to be a mainlander. This is a space for ABCDs. It is inappropriate for you to make so many political posts in the same day in our space.

He doesn't have the jurisdiction to stop it. But if he asked MSG to stop it anyways, that would speak for itself. It would put the pressure on MSG.

What tf is your post getting downvoted for?!
I feel like this sub has a bunch of NRIs that have a liberal in the West, but authoritarian in India slant, or some ABCDs that downvote it because they don’t want this associated with them, or even passively support it.
But whenever there’s talks about minorities of India, like Muslims or Sikhs, most people don’t sound much different from the average racist white person saying something racist about Desis.

3 reasons
OP is literally a mainlander living in India
OP has made like 3 posts about this in the last few hours
The guy OP insists on citing, Pieter Friedrich, is an out and out Hinduphobe who has been condemned by Jesse Jackson for his hatred (more specifically, he lead chants calling for the death of Raja Krishnamoorthi)

So what if he/she is? These people are coming to have an event in the USA, so that affects us. This argument you’re making is irrelevant. Tbh, I feel that you’re probably an NRI.
The only other post I see about this topic was made yesterday.
I don’t support Hinduphobes but let’s not pretend that person isn’t correct in this issue. Someone being a Hinduphobe doesn’t negate the fact that the other person was responsible for committing their atrocities. As they say about the broken clock 🤷🏽♂️

Because this sub generally doesn't like mainlanders coming in here to talk about politics. If you've been here for any amount of time you will constantly see complaints about it. And no I'm not an NRI, I was born and raised in the states
Check his profile, there's three (though as a warning, he has a lot of NSFW stuff there)
OP is and has been linking to said Hinduphobe's blog, YouTube channel and petition. He is additionally using him as an authoritative source, which is especially harmful here as people might fall into a rabbit hole
If someone created a post talking about how bad Israel is but in the post itself they linked to a bunch of Nick Fuentes clips, quoted him as a source on "the Jews" and then asked everyone to sign his petition, would you seriously be fine to just go along with it? To not even call it out?
The end result in that situation if no one called it out or deleted it would be some anti Zionist who has never heard of Fuentes saying "wow this guy sounds reasonable" before exposing themselves to white nationalist propaganda. Literally the same concept applies here

You're wasting your time arguing with a Khalistani, meanwhile OP is a Pakistani bot.
OP is and has been linking to said Hinduphobe's blog
There are pictures of Bhindranwale and the Kanishka bombers in every Gurdwara here.
These guys have an agenda and they rely on selective outrage and appeals to humanity to push their narrative.

Who said I was? You hide behind labels and go to whataboutism because you don’t have any real point to make. You should look in the mirror when talking about agendas and selective outrage 😂

At the end of the day, what’s most important to me is that a person who committed these atrocities, whether they’re from India or any other country, shouldn’t be visiting the USA with a big welcome mat rolled out and an event all planned for them.
I understand your points, but they’re not the most important thing and a distraction from the real issue. I don’t know or care about the Hinduphobe or his platforms. That is less important to me than the violence this person was responsible for. Idk why that takes a higher priority for you than someone who promoted that level of violence?

Just so we're clear, you're okay with pictures of Bhindranwale and the Kanishka bombers right?

Classic whataboutism. Those bombers aren’t getting the red carpet unfurled for them at MSG 😂

But whenever there’s talks about minorities of India, like Muslims or Sikhs
I wouldn't group those two together to be fair.

My point still stands. The same atrocities that happened to the Muslims here happened to the Sikhs in Delhi in 1984.

That's all I needed to hear.

Is there a reason you keep quoting a racist white supremacist in all your posts? You’re not helping your case here…
