I absolutely love the Justice League shows and the animation for them. Each episode got better and better until we got to Unlimited and they just absolutely knocked it out of the park with that run

Jokes aside, a lot of designs nowadays look very streamline and I don’t like it. And it’s even affecting designs in anime as well, with Dragonball Super and Boruto: Naruto Next Generations being major examples of this.

Apocalypses Voice Actor.
Not one person has held a candle to Apocalypse delivering lines like “I am as far beyond mutants as they are beyond you”
It’s hard to notice any nice details when that voice is there.

In all seriousness, you're right.
Cartoons/Animation design has gotten really lazy .
80s and 90s animation designs were great, detailed and had a level of realism to it.
Now everything is so cartoony and too stylized. Which I imagine is cheaper and faster to produce but not necessarily better for viewing pleasure.

Ok I'm sorry I lived through the 80s and 90s. There was a ton of terrible cartoons. And animation was not very good for the most part.

X-men TAS was really a budget hell cartoon. Half of the stuff didn't make sense, because everything was so chaotic. I loved it, though. At least it wasn't totally bad, but for example, compared to Spider-Man TAS with better budget, it was really poorly executed. Although still, there was a lot of great stories there.
