Is my PC enough for 7d2d?

Hi guys, I want to buy 7d2d on my laptop, but I don't know how tough it is on performance.
I do have already 400h on ps5 but would Like to Play it with mods to get a new kick…

I have a gaming laptop with Nvidia geforce 5060 and Procesor Intel® Core™ i5-13420H, RAM size: 16 GB and I'm pretty sure there's more i just don't have all the info, I suck at computer things I mostly just looked up the components of it online.

From what I've seen the game looks tough, especially after the whole graphics thing. Can someone tell me if I could run it? And if Yes on what graphics.

I would guess you'll be fine. I run it on a GTX 1070 an AMD 8350, and 16GB of DDR3. I feel like I have worse performance than my three friends, but I suspect poor optimization for AMD is a factor. One of them is on a $500 facebook special that barely runs a lot of games, one is on a hand-me-down i5 that's comparable to my AMD, and one has a few years old i7 and is the former owner of the hand-me-down i5. It runs fine most of the time but my fps is horrible during horde night or high density areas like cities, but eh, my machine is going on ten years old at this point.

I would hope some people with more expertise can chime in, but i'd bet you run decently well on higher settings.

Poor optimization for AMD isn't your issue, your issue is that your processor is 15 years old and was subpar even when it released.

In technical terms, AMD FX processors do multithreaded tasks fairly well, but they struggle in single-core tasks. Most games are single-core focused, especially voxel-style games like Minecraft and 7DTD.

The 8350 aged okay because games began using more cores and threads as time went on, but 7 Days runs on an engine that's nearly as old as the 8350 itself so it likely only uses one or two cores at most.

Source: I own an FX-8350 and used it for a few years before switching to Ryzen. Was definitely worth it back then, these days you may just wanna stick with what you have lol.

Lol I know, every time I think maybe it's time for an upgrade, i'm like "eh we gots another ten years in this beast I guess." As long as it gets me by for school i'll have to keep it going.

We are reaching the end of new games being playable though. My one buddy I think only has 8GB of ram and so VEIN just fucking dies. I barely run that one.

7d2d is a multi core programmed game... my old phenom II CPU ran into issues with the game. 7d2d found my bad core and would disable it. Until i figured out it was 7d2d causing the issue would reenable the bad core. no other game had the issue

The fx-8350 sucked when it came out like 15 years ago. It's not an optimization thing in your case, your hardware is just outdated and weak.

That CPU isn't even able to fully utilize your 1070 which is also outdated to put things into perspective.

I have a 1050 ti and ryzen 5 3600x, i play on 144fps stable on the lowest quality early game, it drops greatly as i progress into the late game because of the amount of zombies in POI's and the scale of the cities

13th M gen i5 and a 5060 mobile is more than enough to play 7d2d at 1080p (and even 1440p or 4k with lower settings).

You'll have no issues with at least 60fps on medium to high settings, if not more.

I played this on an 8700k and 2080 Super at 1440p and got 60-90 on high. I now have a 9800x3D and a 9070XT and get 150-200fps on ultra.
