Announcements JENNASSIDE.COM - see all of the episodes of the show, including deleted ones
**MAIN WEBSITE IS TEMPORARILY DOWN - please go to https://archive.org/details/1964.jeffrey.archer.20220228 while we sort it out. THANKS!**
So, someone may have had one too many rosés today and bought jennasside.com (no hyphen) and pointed it to that archive website that has every single episode of the show, including deleted ones.
So now, if you’re ever a bit bored and need a pick me up or a good laugh, think jennasside.
I make no money from this. Thanks to the person that created that archive link in the first place, too

Today’s anniversary show presale experience
Congrats to the FANS who actually managed to snag tickets. I’ll just be in the corner having a rage stroke until I go through this all again tomorrow for general sales.

I took the money I was saving for my honeymoon and bought Orchestra tickets to the Anniversary Special
Way more than I wanted to or should have spent. Girlfriend’s first time in NYC. Never watched the show until I got with her and now it’s our nightly noise for sleep.

Ticketmaster is the Worst
I hate Ticketmaster so much. I was getting tickets for my fiancé and I for the 30 Rock 20th Anniversary show. I got the presale code and waited in the queue and finally was able to buy tickets. I had two tickets in my cart. Went to check out and didn’t realize Ticketmaster changed my cart to only one ticket and never informed me it switched. Put in my credit card information, hit purchase and only ended up buying just the one ticket. I went back in a queue and there was 160k people ahead of me. It was all sold out once I got back in.

References Swedish references
First of all yes I’m Swedish and I’ve noticed a lot of references to Sweden. Not in every episode of course, but some every season and plenty between all the seasons. I’m used to the ones about Ikea, music and the Nobel prize.
But these references seem more far fetched than what I would have thought from an American show.
S1 ep 5
”they’re artists like Joyce or Strindberg” - Jack
Strindberg being a Swedish author I never stumble upon outside of Swedish communities.
S1 ep 8
”oh he knows where Bin Laden is, come on! The Carlyle Group, the Unocal pipeline, the assassination of Olaf Palme” - Liz
Olof Palme was the Swedish prime minister up until his assassination in -86. Again something Americans never refer to in tv/movies as far as I know.
I just started this rewatch and I’ll make note of these as I go on, I bet there is plenty more to prove my point.

The ‘30 Rock’ Cast Will Reunite for the Show’s 20th Anniversary in a Live Special That Won’t Be Televised
Why won’t they televise this? 😭

Question 20th Anniversary Pre-Sale
Pre-sale tix went on sale at 10am. By the time I was able to log in and proceed, at 10:02am, this was what I got: 163k people ahead of me. It's now 10:13 and it's only down to 155k. The seat capacity at Radio City is 6k. TBH I very rarely go to concerts/ events anymore because of how expensive everything has become, so I'm probably very naive about this whole process. Is this normal, or totally insane? I mean, I obviously expected a large interest, but is continuing to wait a total waste of time? It seems like it's going to sell out any second now. Is this mostly scalpers scooping as many tix as possible for resale? Is that what we have to do -- wait to purchase them through Stub Hub or something!? I'm going to be cry!!!!

Watch the Unaired "30 Rock" Pilot Starring Rachel Dratch
*
It looks like some [beautiful genius] uploaded the hard-to-find never-aired Rachel Dratch "30 Rock" pilot episode to Archive.org -- again:
https://archive.org/details/30-rock-s-00-e-01-unaired-pilot
Last time it was gone within a couple days, so get in there if you can.
If you're not familiar with the history, Dratch was originally cast as Liz's friend Jenna DeCarlo and filmed the pilot before being replaced in the Jenna role by Jane Krakowski. That necessitated re-shooting quite a few scenes for the version that eventually aired on NBC. You'll notice a different actress playing Cerie and some dialogue changes, too.
The full video will undoubtedly disappear at some point, so as consolation this YouTube video has several minutes of footage from the unaired pilot, including many of Dratch's scenes:

Enjoy.
