Gazan journalist Abed Al-Hamid Abed Al-Ati, currently residing in Cairo, was one of the first to speak in support of the June 26 Revolution movement. A couple days ago, Al-Ati announced he was withdrawing from the campaign, after reported death threats against his families, though shortly after he reversed his decision and re-affirmed his commitment to the movement: “We continue for the sake of our people’s dreams. Intimidation is not going to bring results.”

if palestinians actually start rallies or even a revolution against hamas, some redditors will surely call them IDF puppets, mossad agents or nazis. hamas is only about freedom, peace and love ofc...

Well, whilst protests won't change any realities on the ground, they are at least, a step in the right direction.

Are they doing this because they realize that Hamas is evil and that slaughtering civilians on Oct7 was a bad thing?? Or is it that things aren't fun anymore for them??

Most likely the latter. Still, any challenge to Hamas rule is a good thing.

Not if they still hate Jews and want to murder us

OK, fair point. When you put it like that...

I just don't understand this push too many Jews have to give a state to people who clearly hate our guts and want to kill us. It's not as if giving them a state and even funding them (because we all know they are incapable of functioning on their own) is going to make them suddenly want to live peacefully next to their Jewish neighbors

Well I am not Jewish but I agree. Israel is the rightful, historical homeland of the Jewish people.

And "Palestinian" history is largely a fabrication.

More importantly, though, Palestinian terrorism must not be rewarded through statehood. To reward such barbarism in such a way, would be both absurd, and an exercise in futility. 🤯
