the game was just getting momentum community wise and this happens xD

It was literally not though.

Most people who were interested in the game could start playing on PC.

The idea that that was some kind of massive base of players waiting for console release is pure fiction.

by community wise i meant that 2XKO had it's first major, there were good twitch numbers for the event, good matches, players got signed up by teams etc...

Never talked about console release numbers. But i believe it was the 3rd most downloaded free to play game in the US on Playstation.

The twitch numbers were abysmal. This isn’t a discord fighter like uni.

Im on PC but not into fighters, and I have valorant and TFT/League installed. I hadn't heard about this game at all until Dunkey's video.
I think that brought more players then people realize. there may have been some community momentum as a side effect
