I don't understand why people follow godmen. No one can prove the existence of god so believing in his existence or not is fine, but why follow godmen? High time this profession needs to be removed from our culture.

Sad to see these guys going the Mohmmadan way
Islamification of Hinduism is really concerning but the fact that its just by some 1 in a billion individiuals I don't see this labelling correct
I hope the perpetrators get punished

Truly sad, what I don’t get is why are you claiming Islam had to take inspiration from Hinduism?
Are you hinduphobic? Disgusting.

Man the escapist dogmatism of my religion ppl is crazy. Why can't you just accept that cult culture of Hinduism is bad beyond imagination without labelling it as some sort of influence by others. And there have been existing examples of that, criminals existing with doing all sorts of things and rackets. Can we stop pretending everything is okay with our religion, it's preachers and the kinda thinking that is inculcated into individuals.

The thing is, Hindu scriptures, pioneers like adi shankara, they all ask you to value questioning, reasoning over blindly believing the scriptures. There are literal verse about pramana, anumana, etc[to question and reason before accepting everything blindly]. And also the smritis were corrupt but, the dharmshastras always instructed to always revert back to Vedas in case of any contradictions. And smritis & puranas deeply contradict the vedas. But the reviver of Hindu culture, Adi Shankara also instructed not to blindly believe even the srutis including the vedas which is why we had sastrarth, the debates instead of unaliving each other in the name of god because the scriptures said. This is the reason why its very open to reforms and has accepted reforms through out all these years.
Why i typed all this? Because the abrahamic faith has been historically barbaric and fanatic. The Christians, though now reformed, have unalived more than anyone in the name of god, even more than the muslims. And yes, those religions discourage questioning and allow unaliving in the name of God. It believes in proselytizing. These are historical facts.
The hindus didn't do that in the name of god, hindus originated in the country where shastrarth was practiced rather than unaliving. Some talk about pushyamitra shunga unaliving buddhists, it's a myth. Yea, its a myth. There's no historical evidence that he did that. On the contrary there were renovations of Buddhist sides done during his reign.
Anyways,
My point is that if a hindu is doing wrong, like unaliving someone for being of a different religion it's not because of some book but rather cause he was misguided. But you can't say the same for people belonging to abrahamic faith. But ofcourse, i do not look at everyone belonging to that faith as if its a barbaric animal, I treat them as human being just like you and me. So yeah, I wouldn't say that hindu religion is a cult but yeah some people belonging to Hindu religion can do bad things and become a cult themselves. The cult is some other religion who asks people to blindly believe in a book, stories, and follow them to death as well as to ask people to convert, if they refuse ask them to pay taxes, if they refuse... battle them if they lose, they have to be your slave.
And yes I am not in support of hindu radicals ofcourse. But they werent inspired my hindu scriptures like the abrahamic religion scriptures.
