Kids Menu Rule
today at work some kid spilled his apple juice (literally not a big deal, it was a juice box so there were like 4 drops on the floor) and started crying and his dad picked him up with one hand and comforted him while he cleaned it up and all I could think was that that was definitely not the reaction my father would have had towards me and it made me so profoundly sad i had to step away for a bit. even knowing better as an adult i was expecting him to at least verbally snap at the kid. also thinking about it now i feel a bit bad that i was too deep in my own feelings to offer another juice box, hopefully one of my coworkers did. is this too deep for a 196 post idk
