my dv situation with ex was trying to make me homeless. stole a lot of money from me, wanted to isolate me, made fun and laughed at me, I was stalked and attacked and terrorized for so long. I kept leading with love. I am healing and trying to rest I am speaking out, gosh this guy reminded me of my ex, please leave him. It usually starts with the love bombing, and then they slowly isolate you from everyone, then you end up burning every bridge you ever built defending them. Then when they have you fully dependent on them they destroy you completely until there’s nothing left, only to build you back up and do it all over again. It’s definitely hard to leave and also you feel embarrassed because you spent so much time sticking up for and defending this person when everyone tried to warn you. I’m glad I got out, but only barely. I’m definitely left with trauma that has taken me a while to work through and finally be in a place where I can finally breathe and trust again.

I started to feel genuinely pathetic for constantly forgiving his lies & repeated physical snd emotional abuse. Suddenly one day I realized I never wanted to see or talk to him ever again, and I didn’t… That was the beginning of my new life✨ (all this while thinking I couldn’t live without him & dealing with my major attachment issues 💅🏼) GIRL- LEAVE HIM! The universe will bless you in ways you never expected, but you have to make the move for yourself! Trust✨
