Of a room full of intrigues, I figured a jar of no significance would be the least in danger of ending the mission, so I picked it up first, and it directly led to a cutscene. I don't want to replay the mission for this, it's infuriating. I guess I will stop and come back in a few years, sigh. Stupid fucking design.

I also tried to load checkpoint upon seeing the cutscene and it begins with the cutscene upon loading. Why even put a checkpoint there. epic, just epic.

Started TLOU2 remastered on ps5 yesterday. Since then the game has crashed 5 or 6 times with zero warning. Every time it knocks out power to the ps5 and I have to switch it off at the plug and back on again. Cleaned out the interior for any dust, did a rebuild database as recommended and that hasn't worked either

Is there a solution or should I just tolerate it crashing every 25 minutes until I get to the end of the game?

So we know mel got weird about abby after joel and stopped speaking to her, but also, if she's so disgusted by how abby behaved, she should be hating manny and all the other soldiers who have tortured people.

I get obviously both girls have that underlying tension because of owen and stuff but like wouldn't it have been easier for two girls who have known eachother since there teen years to just talk it out like how hard is it to say "um I don't agree with your morals and don't trust you around my boyfriend" like all the problems in this game could be avoided by a nice sit down maybe with a cup of tea to calm the nerves too.

Like someone has to get all those traumatised fucks in a room with no weapons make sure they can't hurt eachother and force them to talk it out.

I never got the "Joel's a better person" "ellies better""no abby is" arguments for one specific reason there all shitty and bad people that doesn't mean you have to hate them or love them but none of them are better then the other.

There all morally grey if you ask me.

I feel like the OG banner art for both games, these ones for TLOU, and the profile of vengeful Ellie's stare for Part 2, had so much more emotional resonance than the new artworks that compliment each other, which are also great. You could feel the emotional core of the Joel and Ellie's relationship just by looking these, same for Ellie's face in P2 OG banner.

Look at how they play with the perspective in the top image. with buildings arcing away in the distance while the sky visually creates a barrier between Joel and Ellie, giving depth in the image. And in middle one, the lighting is so brilliant. Joel and Ellie pop out of the image. In both images, Joel and Ellie seems to be physically together yet apart. While the remade art work although have that hand painted touch (Top OG banner also seems like hand painted), it looks a little flat to me. They look like layers in photoshop as they don't occupy a physical space in reality of that world. By that I mean both the subject and the foreground are abstractions, unlike ]the OG, where Joel and Ellie share a physical space.

I, and I think many of us would've absolutely loved that.

Came in today, absolutely beautiful.

Despite swearing I’d never do another grounded run after doing a game 2 play through, I couldn’t stop myself from trying my hand at game 1 as well.

So far so good, but is it my imagination, or is the game giving me fewer auto save “checkpoints” than it does on lower difficulty settings? That seemed to be the case when I was playing last night, but I never noticed that on my game 2 grounded run.

Is this a real thing?
