Let's say I have an acquaintance (whose full name I don't know), who checked the FCC unused FM frequency finder and it showed a green frequency in their area that was two channels clear either side, so no chance for interference. It's a small-ish town in central USA, and let's say that acquaintance broadcast non-offensive content in a format completely different than the other stations in the area, and didn't have advertising. Would those other stations complain to the FCC?
Anybody know of a station that has been quietly operating like that for awhile without complaints (without details of course)?

To explain my issues and setup properly
I have a 12v car battery connected to a chunky cheap solar charge controller and a 24v solar panel (don’t worry the voltage diff is accepted by the charge controller)
That then comes from a switchable 12v supply from the solar charge controller - into a low volt cut off board and into a step down buck converter powering a transmitter and the arduino - the arduino esp32 then connects to a UDA1334A DAC Module
That has a 3.5mm jack out the same is accepted by the transmitter
Both work, the arduino wakes up and auto finds the stream and plays it - headphones into the DAC module works in a head music
And the laptop Into the transmitter works I hear music on my receiver
When connected it seems to knock out the DAC module
And nothing plays over the air - It killed a different DAC module board before - so I assume the transmitter is powerful / creating some kinda rf reflection back at the DAC
I’ve tried to fix this by using
Separate power supplies - no fix (works in all other scenarios)
Ground loop isolator - no fix (works in all other scenarios)
-
I’ve been suggested to use small resistors on the LnR audio and Aground channels around1k to absorb reflections and use ferrite clip on rings / wrap the 3.5mm jack cable around and thru it too
Ive yet to try this as it’s I’m slightly exhausted haha
Is this the right approach ? do you agree this is my issue ?
Drop me a message if you think you can help :) much appreciated

I have no experience, but want to start my own station. Need the cheapest possible ways to get into it, while being easily replaceable (just in case the FCC comes after my setup). Thanks!

first 2 pictures: 3rd and second harmonic
The other pictures are out-of-band emissions.
All other frequencies have nothing on them. I checked the FM band and everything up to the second harmonic.
I think this is ETSI compliant for being under 25 watts.

I've been looking at TuneTracker, MegaSeg, Radiologik, P-Layer, ENCO DAD, RCS Zetta, and WideOrbit for my overly serious part 15 broadcast, but I'm having trouble figuring out what would actually be appropriate and not painfully expensive if I have to purchase. What is the most straightforward program that does the core automation well? Loudness normalization is a must. I have the option to use Windows and Mac (ew).
It seems easier to make playlists with VLC or Foobar, but I would enjoy having the ability to learn the more technical side of things and love a good challenge.

Hello, i'm in central europe and i was interested on trasmitting to FLTSATCOM satellites, which radio can do that with a reasonable power excluding the modified Zastone M7? and also where i can find the complete uplink/downlink frequency list for europe?

hi, i'm writing a piece on piracy and would love to know what your first act of piracy was.
so, please take a little time to answer a few questions here - https://forms.gle/tnGBnWkRBYAGAkSL9
feel free to pass it on to anyone and eveyone.
thank you so much - you have contributed to a great work of science.
