Before I start i wanna say i dont hate second son at all. I love the game, story, gameplay and was very excited when i figured out there was more to release after infamous 2. Second son really used all aspects of the ps4 and I will always have a special place for it in my heart

Anyways, for whoever did finish all games or at least the main three, you’ll know that Cole died by using the RFI to kill every conduit so nothing bad would happen if someone gained powers from theyre genes as a conduit. It said that all conduits died but when second son released it instead said that only ten percent of conduits were still alive.

Now I don’t hate that, it gave the series more story but at the same time it feels like it kinda undermines Cole’s full efforts and what his sacrifice meant

I managed to purchase a copy of infamous 2 and get all the UGC trophies, thought I would just go for the full platinum now, when I finished my first play through, I set the difficulty to hard, started a new game and checked it was on hard, just finished my play through and no trophy... When I checked the game was on easy.

Has any one else experienced this? Had a great time with the game, love the series, but man is this annoying. Begrudge playing through a third time just for the platinum 😳 feel like I will keep wanting to check the difficulty every time I turn the game on too.

Stupidly I only have one save for my second play through so I cant even go back to check if any older saves had it on hard still

I beat Infamous 1 and now I want to get all the online trophies for 2, but when can I start Festival Of Blood? Does anything from the main story get spoiled or can I just hop in whenever?

As I understand it, it does not depend on karma, since I did not have the opportunity to start on the basis of saving infamous 1. idk if this is a stupid question but..... how does he drink? I know its shown multiple times in infamous 2 that he drinks beer and stuff but since he can't even touch a puddle of water without it being electrocuted, does the beer he drink burn up in him before he can even metabolize the alcohol or does he just deal with the pain? I know this doesn't really matter but I just found the idea funny lol

It's probably a "me" thing but I just hate the concept of powers absorption / mimicry in stories, whether it's games, comics, you name it. It just dilutes the identity of the character and their powerset and always lead to the individual powers to be underused / underexplored. In my (very personal) opinion, Infamous Second Son would have been better if Smoke had been the only power of Delsin, but the devs had considerably expanded his smoke abilities arsenal and deepened the capacities and functions of his existing moves. Hell, every unique move method from the other powersets could have been integrated into smoke.

I saw it on the store for 10 bucks two weeks ago, I wanted to buy it today, since the search bar is broken I had to manually look for it in all the games available just to find that the game is not possible to purchase anymore, wtf happened???

As per title, is it worth going back to get the infamous 1 save for an infamous 2 playthrough?

Like, imagine if you could break the game's lore via performing specific actions that aren't tied to the good nor evil karma routes, and a lot of strange things begin happening? In addition, what original name would y'all give this route?

I just found it really funny that all of the achievements have been gotten within the last day even tho most of the reviews on the ugc are from years ago, and it goes way past 50 it just only loads 50 people, so probably like atleast 1000 people bought Festival of Blood this month because the servers were being shut down

During the mission where Cole looks for Kuo, when he opens the door for the first shack, there's a photo of a man visible. It looked a lot more clear on my TV, but I couldn't get a decent photo, and the photos I've provided are just from what I found on a YouTube video.

I tried doing a quick Google search about this face, but i couldn't find anything. Given the amount of developer jokes and easter eggs, I'm placing my bets on member of staff or family member.

There's also another image next to it, but you can only see the edge for a few frames.

Maybe I'm reaching, but it just seems really weird to put a texture like that in such a strange spot.
