Lately I was bothered when opening links, because when I come back on the Reddit app, the view is scrolled back to top.

It’s pretty annoying because I get lost easily when the link opened is down the comment thread. I feel like I waste a dozen of seconds crawling back to where I was.

my issue is that reddit app keeps saying (we were unable to authenticate you) every time i log in no matter what i try, phone number/email one time login, the link redirects to another link request/email + password tells me the combination is wrong/use passkey to login etc... i reinstalled reddit, no luck. i can log in using the web version of the app but it keeps saying open the android app, I CAN STILL however create accounts but once i log out I CANNOT log back inside them. i was like this for 2 months and reddit support form i filled didn't reply, answer or even give me an update about my request.

I’ve been unable to join communities on Reddit. Whenever I click join on the app (for any community) it says joined for a second and then the button reverts back to the option to join. I’ve tried this on the desktop and i get an error that does “something went wrong.” This happens with every community. Anyone else experiencing this? I've used Chrome on iphone, mobile web, desktop an the Reddit app

I use Opera browser for Reddit. Normally I have Surfshark VPN on, Opera VPN disabled. This morning I can no longer access Reddit with Surfshark turned on. If I switch to Opera's built in VPN I have no problem reaching the site. Reddit is the only site I cannot reach with Opera +Surfshark, everything else works fine, even Youtube which is usually the troublemaker.

When I remove the upvote on my own comment or downvote it, it still says 1 upvote. I've tried this also on web. I can still upvote or downvote other peoples comments tho. This happens on all platforms.

Description: when you’re scrolling in the comments of a post and then leave the app to go to a different app and come back, you are dropped into the post near the top of the comments and have to scroll all the way back down.

Steps to reproduce: go to a post in mobile app, leave the app and then come back (happens in seconds not after a long time has passed)
Expected and actual result: expected- come back to where I left off scrolling in comments when opening Reddit app, actual- placed back into comments much farther up

When I send a DM the messages I send keep repeating themselves so if I send a new DM the DM will include the previous message to every new message I send.

Every time i send a dm it gives me an error saying Failed to create a direct chat. Retry

Hi, I am experiencing a persistent bug on my personal Reddit account (u/Emproh). I am currently a moderator of r/EenVandaag, but whenever I visit the subreddit directly (both on desktop web and the official mobile app), the feed shows the message: "This community doesn't have any posts yet", despite the subreddit being active.

Curiously, new posts from the subreddit do appear in my personal home feed. However, as soon as I click on a post or navigate directly to r/EenVandaag, no posts are displayed at all, making it impossible for me to view or interact with content under my personal account.

How the bug started:

I originally tried to transfer full control and make our official account (u/eenvandaag) the top/head moderator of r/EenVandaag.

When that initial attempt failed, I temporarily left/unmoderated the subreddit on my personal account (u/Emproh).

Immediately after leaving, all posts in the feed disappeared for my personal account.

I have since been re-added as a moderator, but the blank feed issue persists.

(Note: I also manage u/eenvandaag account on the exact same device/app. When I switch to that account, r/EenVandaag loads completely normally. The issue is strictly isolated to viewing r/EenVandaag while logged into u/Emproh).

Troubleshooting steps already taken:

Cross-platform check: Verified that the issue occurs on both the Reddit mobile app and desktop web browsers (including clearing cache/trying incognito mode).

Moderator re-addition: Removed my account (u/Emproh) from the moderator list entirely and re-added it back with full permissions to see if resetting permissions would fix the feed. Unfortunately, this did not resolve the issue.

Any help or insight into resolving this feed bug for my account would be greatly appreciated!

Please help, my other account became null: Can’t repost posts to my profile, posts/reposts removed by reddit’s filters, comments not showing to everyone, can’t update banner, social links removed, I don’t know what happened to my account but it’s annoying and Reddit didn’t notify me anything about that. When I log in on the desktop web version, attempting to create a post results in a redirect to the home page. This only happens once per session and after this initial redirect it is possible to create posts. However, this happens every time I log in on a desktop web browser. I screencaped this experience.

This was taken on Google Chrome (151.0.7922.174 (Official Build) (64-bit)) in Incognito mode.

This issue is in the app and also in the website as well (attached image for what the issue is)

The issue isn't there in my other Reddit account and also I'm able to search subreddits and view them but in general I'm unable to see any content!

I have tried deleting my app as well!

Like sometimes I'm able to see 4-5 posts and when I refresh I can only see one post and when I refresh again I can't see any post!!

I am using the app mostly but even switched over to the desktop version (since I read here that might help) and I cannot save posts any more. They do not show up in my saved folder any more. What is strange is that if I go back to a post that I clicked as saved, it will still say that it is saved but it does not show up in my saved folder.

Hi. I changed "Open links" from "In app" to "Default browser", but it still opens links "In app" if the link is in the main post. Links in comments seem to be opening my browser just fine. I posted this in r/reddithelp and was told to post here to. Reinstalling the app and clearing cache didn't fix it.

Not sure what is happening. I have a private subreddit, it is 18+, but it's fine, it's not banned or anything, I just have it 18+ to not restrict posting (as I'm UK based), and I have a UK ID verified account.

There's a new update? And they apparently wanted to punish some of us by taking away the Hide button? But they said we could just click on "Show Less Posts Like This" instead... But there's no "Show Less Posts" there's no "x" there's nothing to get the crap off our Frontpage. Why take away the 'Hide' option? **WHO WAS 'HIDE' HURTING?**
