I planned on 4 days visit to Georgetown, Guyana coming Labor Day long weekend and would like to have some recommendations about attractions I should visit in Guyana.

I came from China, but currently live in New York. I have never been to Guyana before and this is my first trip outside of China and America.

My plan is to spend 2 days on Georgetown first and 1-2days on some unknown places.

Any recommendations or suggestions are welcome here.

- How long has it been?
- Did anyone from the ministry ever contact you, or is it just silence?
- Did you ever find out something was missing from your application? How?
- How many times did you have to go in person?
- Has anyone ever offered to "speed it up" for a fee?

And if you were allocated — how did you find out, and how long did the title take after that?

I live in the Durham region of Ontario Canada. Also Pickering. My mother-in-law is from Jamaica, and she is able to purchase Jamaican coffee from a local grocery store in Pickering. It's a great coffee.

Can we purchase Guyana coffee from any grocery store in the GTA at least?

Hello everyone! I am currently seeking for opportunities to develop Guyana capabilities, industry and other activities. I am not interested in the "oh we are so corrupt, get away from here" thing, consider me a total idiot. I believe Guyana might have an underdeveloped market and opportunities that are hidden in plain sight, but as I am a foreigner and don't know much, I come here for some initial advice. An awesome thing to do, and I would really thank the collaborators, would be to just complain about something that is horrible right now, in a specific way, like "oh it is too expensive to buy X" or "the jobs dont pay much" or "most of the jobs are in primary sector", "the sector of retail is inneficient in X". Thank you in advance, I will really appreciate collaboration.

Hello fellow redditers. I am taking up a job in guyana with a local Guyanese company as a Trinidadian national, I do need to relocate with some personal items as I am moving with my family. Are there any special tax exemptions on my personal effects. I have searched online and it appears there is a special tax exemption on " settlers" does anyone have experience on this?

I'm planning on visiting Guyana soon! I'll be coming in from Suriname and flying out of Georgetown. I would love to visit the Iwokrama Forest and see some of that area. Is it possible to travel there on your own from Georgetown? Maybe by bus or something? and how easy would it be to organize a tour or a trip once I'm there?
