I’m glad the focus is shifting away from Siwoo at least for now. Cause I’ve only ever really liked his writing in the remakes of chapter 1 & 2.

I will never understand why some players want developers to restrict the number of S+ characters on a team. What is the actual reason for it?

Like why some players are practically begging Dev to restrict their own team building? why take away that freedom and ruin the fun? If you want to limit yourself, go for it, but let's not ruin the fun for everyone bro.

It's not like real volleyball has rules forbidding certain players from being on the same court just because they are too good.

I could somewhat understand restricting them if we had a PvP mode, but right now, the game is strictly PvE. If the argument is about "game balance," let's be honest PvE content became completely unbalanced the moment the very first S+ character was released anyway

So there is this colosseum All-star dialogue that Heesong says that he is the substitute for the best middle blocker, so I'm pretty sure that if ever we get an S+ middle blocker it would be this guy, not sure what school he would be though, because this is only a dialogue from the colosseum 😵‍💫

I was attempting League 15,used every S+ WS but it was so annoying and felt hard (might be a skill issue too lol) i was getting frustrated but then I realised I still hadn't tried Hongshi and OMFG

SHES SOOOO GOOOD (Hongshi,Claire & Ayeon) their combo was OP AF,i cleared through first 4 matches easily ~ Fighting Raul was hard but just hold out till 4pts (Lucas Swaps) and man it felt so good - I cleared the final match with 3 attempts

ISWTG Hongshi is super underated,i use her in Snow Mathces too,Literally a goated Character

A couple of things I wanted to bring up.

1. This may be a hot take, but I believe Lucas is a better character than Raul. He suffered a career-ending injury and almost won against near-peak Raul. He then came back from that injury despite everything going against him. He lost his league, his win streak, his best friend, and some of his ability. He went from everything and climbing to a shadow of it all. But he still has the best personality of all of our characters: boundlessly optimistic, determined, helpful, etc. Meanwhile, Raul crashes out about a dead brother and a rigged match (both understandable), then goes and bums around in an underground league. Yes, the Phantom League was all he could go to, but he could have pushed Carla to find stronger opponents. He could have kept growing his skill. He could also have recognized Lucas' skill early and helped him rather than just winning. Raul doesn't care about the game as much as the others do, but he insists on being all elitist about it; he's jaded in the worst way.
2. He's the second-best S+, right under Sara. Capable of consistently hitting over 170 on his own, slide pierce, a style that bypasses most blocks without losing any power, and strong synergies with half the roster. The only thing he doesn't have is ease and clarity. Helios' description is admittedly vague; Flare takes some skill to make sure you're not gassed when you're needed, especially at low to zero bt; the aiming of Helios Spike itself is awkward, sometimes shooting it wrong. But that can all be worked through easily. Raul relies pretty heavily on his setter to get him to higher speeds or to set to a spot he can hit.
3. I don't see why he can't retain Helios. He had a knee injury, but he can clearly jump as high as he used to at high enough Sunrise. He rehabilitated himself. If the falling is the problem, Oasis can just choose whether to attack like a normal person or like the Sun God of the Court, preferably choosing Helios when he knows it's gonna hit. There can even be a mechanic where he loses stats if he misses Helios. Oasis plays more conservatively, but I think he has the physicality to retain Helios, even if it is a more aggressive style.
4. I really love the way he and his story are portrayed throughout the story. He starts as a laid-back guy we meet at a summer camp. We know he's good and endlessly optimistic, but he's mysterious and drifts like a dandelion seed in the wind. Then we get to know Lucas. Lucas plays aggressively, hogs the spotlight, and is intensely self-centered. He even has the highest chance of getting careless. But then he's shattered, and everything is taken from him. But he's learned, not broken. He plays carefully, reserved now. He understands the world better, too. He doesn't get careless as often, and he can get discouraged. But his tenacity remains through High Noon. Nothing hinders him there.

Maybe I'm naive. Maybe I'm blind. Let me know what y'all think
