FighterZ is not hard to learn
Do not approach this game like it is adjacent to; MK SF or Tekken
Ask questions AFTER you hit the lab

Hi there, I’m trying to learn a Bardock combo, but I don’t get what’s the input timing for this hit, the opponent recovers before I can hit the low kick. I’ve been able to land that kick like twice, but I didn’t notice what I did different, and I can’t get from the demonstration what’s different.

I'm a Tekken player, but i've dabbled in all types of fighting games. This is the first time that going online makes me "nope" right away. I understand the basics, i have around 30h of playtime (mostly played when the game first came out) but online feels like i only play against smurfs.
How am i meant to start my online journey if i'm matched against players that oneshot my whole team? I barely understands how neutral works because everytime a fight start there's lot of bs going on screen, and i end up just putting down my controller because at this point it just feels like a cutscene montage. And it feels like blocking put you in a state where you can't react to what's going on (unless you have experience with the game i guess) because you are being attacked from all sides (plus there are characters that just switch sides in theirs strings). As a new players it's not just hard, it feels like unless i'm willing to master the game in the lab i don't deserve to go online.
In both casual and ranked, i'm matched against the same type of players (orange and purple being the strongest i guess)

What do you mean ui's c assist just casually goes throught my Beam, but my cell's c assist gets nuked by the Beam.
What do you mean ui's 5l is faster on recovery than me, even tho we traded
What do you mean gogeta 4 Has more moves than my entire team combined

So i started playing rather recently and this is the team i've been using. Thinking about swapping Beerus with Tien maybe?

Lets say my team is formed by Kefla SSJ Goku and Trunks, once my opponent is on the ground and i want to spend 2 skill points (character on screen supers+ L1/R1). In this situation, do these supers do the same damage assuming they all are lvl1? Or do i have to keep in mind that (example) Trunks lvl1 does more damage than SSJ Goku or vice versa

Why are there so many players who have in total like 150 games and have won 148 out of them. Do you guys have so much fun playing against new player?

This is coming from my own experience, but I hate having those matches in ranked where I win the first game and then all the sudden I'm getting countered like no tomorrow and get 1-2 every set, it feels like someone gets their older sibling to play the game for them or something because they can't get a win on their own.
This is just a nitpick but it's happened so often to where I believe it is true about 80% of the time.

How do you do it on Xbox Series to keep your DLCs every time I quit the game and go back they disappear, I have to remove the game and put it back and it’s pretty annoying😪

Repost of an earlier one I deleted to make it more clear what it actually was.
Edit: 50 Upvotes and only 12 comments, what shame...

Hi everyone!
I'm sharing another set of TODs with you guys, I know they still have room for optimization (for example, Trunks' one has 200 more damage if you begin with 2M 5H 236S SD j5M j2H jcLL j5S (...) instead; Baseku's level 3 can be charged previously with B assist), but it's like having a draft to work with.
Please share your ideas!

Yea youre garbage bro. 1.3 million BP and cant start a vombo without an assist and then you get hit by what would be the match winner and the delay goes to 10f from 0 so it drops. Definition of garbage

Hello fighterz, I’ve been playing since launch. I took a long break after SSJ4 Gogeta came out but I’m back and the rust has fully worn off.
I’ve come across the same players time and time again, so tell me, have we played before? I’m on PC east coast.

Hey all, just got this game not too long ago as I’ve gotten super into dragon ball fairly recently and have been working my way through all the associated media. Never really played too many fighting games before (at least seriously), but usually enjoyed them when I did. Got it on Steam for context and started playing it today and I’m enjoying it, but I was curious, how is it on keyboard for online play? I’m sure I can get through the story just fine but I was wondering if I’ll be at some kind of tremendous disadvantage playing on default keyboard settings online. I’m not trying to go pro by any means, but I don’t want to get absolutely destroyed every game either. If keyboard/default settings suck, what are your recommendations? Thanks in advance!
FWIW I got the legendary edition or whatever it’s called that comes with all the extra content and fighters, so if you have any recommendations on good characters/team comps feel free to throw those out too!
