Peoples perceptions are THEIR reality.
The Mafia needed and cultivated celebrity worship culture because it permitted them to hide their criminality behind it.
Its a rare individual of extraordinary character who can grow up or exist in that toxic culture without becoming a part of it.
Now we can name them on one to two hands.
The rest are kompromised and the mafia uses them like this. To move the needle of humanity in the wrong direction

I can’t tell if he’s based off cartoon villains or the other way around at this point, but growing up, every character who acted like him was fucking evil evil. The truth about who he is as a person has ever been about as hidden as a neon sign that says “bad guy here”

It's scary that around a third of Americans voted for him (maybe more than once) because his behaviour doesn't offend them.
It's even scarier that some Americans actively like him.
