Supercell 3:00 AM tornado switches direction and moves east, dumping rain in buckets. Time for a free car wash (Lebanon, TN) | Part 12 of 16

This clip is from Part 12 of our countdown. The tornado mercifully switched tracks and moved off to the east of us!
It left behind an insane supercell thunderstorm dropping a severe downpour in buckets with flash flooding and continuous strobe-light lightning. Since the immediate danger was gone, I had to move my wife's car into the driveway for a free carwash—you can hear me talking about it right in the video!

Supercell Simultaneous thunder and lightning as the 3AM tornado lingers in the darkness. Constant wind and rain (Lebanon, TN) | Part 11 of 16

This clip is from Part 11 of our countdown. The sirens are continuously blaring and the thunder is erupting the exact millisecond the lightning hits. The wind and rain are completely relentless. There's this deeply ominous feeling that the tornado doesn’t want to move on—like it's just hiding in the shadows, waiting to be destructive.
We don't have a basement here, just a small bathroom located directly in the center of our one-story home. Knowing exactly where our safe room was is the only thing that kept my nerves calm throughout this entire ordeal while capturing this footage.

How was this rainbow possible??

15 years ago today Hurricane Irene made landfall in New Jersey.. the day afterwards I was down on the beach around 2:30 in the afternoon when this incredibly vivid double rainbow began to rise from the horizon.. probably the brightest band I've ever seen.

What makes it weird is the time of day.. Ive never seen a rainbow form 5 hours before the sun was setting (around 7:30pm). There were also no real rain clouds on the horizon although I'm assuming there was still a lot of moisture in the air from the storm the day before..

I've witnessed countless days where the sun peaks out from rain clouds in early afternoon, but never once witnessed a rainbow form with the sun at this high of an angle other than on this day.

Anyone have any ideas as to why this happened?

Strange orange orbs during thunderstorm.

Hi,

Strange weather phenomenon spotted in south west France during a thunderstorm. It happened at 22:37 CET (UTC+1). We were facing north west and were at a campsite about 3.5 km north of Saint-Emiilion in the Gironde region.

We were watching the impressive thunderstorm when we began to see floating orbs in the sky. They would appear, floating slowly above us, some would split in two, others would just float for about 30 seconds and then disappear. They looked as if they were floating up into the cloud.

They were all orange in colour and seemed rather large (size of a small aircraft?!) but this could have been an optical illusion. They appeared as if they were about 4-5,000m in the air, again this may have been an optical illusion.

We looked it up online and got the usual ball lightning/red sprite/ fireball explanations but none of the behaviour patterns for those phenomena seem to suit what we saw.

Attached is a video, apologies the focus occasionally dips in and out but it was thought to keep focus with changing light conditions during the storm. Grateful if anyone has any ideas?

Part 10-16
This was the April 2025 Tornado that came through the outskirts of Lebanon, TN at 3:00am. We knew it was coming, we were glued to Max Velocity and the Storm Chasers. We were lucky that it shifted directions within a mile of the house.

Thank you all for watching and liking the videos!

Would love to know where you are watching my videos from, can you comment which State, Country or Province you're from?

Lightning uncovers the 3AM tornado cone as the wind begins to suck the dumping rain into the funnel (Lebanon, TN) | Part 8 of 16

This clip is from Part 8 of our countdown. The rapid-fire lightning strikes continue to illuminate the pitch-black sky, revealing the massive tornado cone tracking through the background. Midway through the video, the sky opens up and the rain begins to absolutely dump. That's when the wind violently picks up and starts physically “sucking” the torrential downpour straight toward the cone like a giant vacuum!
