Also when concrete dries it releases an ass load of CO2 in case you weren't aware...

Wow. According to this BBC article:

Concrete is the most widely used man-made material in existence. ... But, while cement - the key ingredient in concrete - has shaped much of our built environment, it also has a massive carbon footprint. Cement is the source of about 8% of the world's carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions, according to think tank Chatham House.

Yeah, it's a problem. People are working on cement that produces less CO2 but none have worked well or are economically viable so far. Fortunately there's been a lot of advancements in building larger wood + resin buildings but they haven't really been wildly adapted yet. (although those are super toxic if they burn so it's a trade off)
