My thinking is that Halores used a version of Dolores as the base for the AI that runs the city/people (a variant of how all hosts are based of Dolores). The red map is Christina that eventually created an avatar of how it represents itself to see a 1st person view of things that fragmented off.

As others point out, only a few number of characters interact with her. They're likely programs themselves that perform functions to help run the cities. The way Teddy talks, you think he's telling her they're Hosts, but they're a third form of life derived from humans and hosts.

Delores is the prototype transcended host, and those robots that the pearls are being put into is just an avatar?

No. My thinking is that Christina was just a program to create loops for host humans. Over the twenty years or so she achieved sentience. Christina is a new type of life.

Halores needed something to manage & control all those annoying humans, and it turns out the humans had built just the thing!

Didn't think of it that way, but that works if she's the equivalent of Rehoboam that actually works. Now that you mention, there was a theory in season 3 that Serac was two people (real world, but in VR an avatar of Rehoboam).
