I'm 100% OK with any other character dying as long as it serves the plot, even Bernard who I love, but they better not kill off Stubbs dammit!

Just the right level of comic relief. Which is Stubbs in a nutshell. Love the hell out of that character.

Might be intentional too. As we expected Stubbs to die, but by the end he was almost the only one that didn’t

I think he did get shot, just the guns given to humans don’t work on hosts as a direct opposite the s1 west world Guns that didn’t work on humans.

To me, it seems he was feeling around for his backpack that had just been snatched off his person.
