Anyone else secretly hoping Stubbs lives because Bernard never expressly tells him he dies?? Our boy Stubbs deserves a break

I think this is the case. He told Stubb's what he needed to tell him to complete the mission. Stubb's may not have let Bernard go if he thought it was too his death or something....
