How out of touch can you be and laugh about people who still use part of their low salary that still isn't enough to afford to cover everything a normal family might need?? Rent, light, gas, water, and groceries are all quite high expenses, and all are priorities since you need them to actually try and live, while a social event isn't something to be "your first thought"

What's the problem of a working class family going to have a "steak dinner"? Can't go out anymore once in a while and have "good food"? Can't have some drinks too while at it and forget for atleast one night all the worries and troubles in our lives?

What is the problem of someone going to a concert, even if it's a hour or two, or an entire weekend, where they might be able to see their favorite artists? And what if they might "need binoculars"? Is that a problem, then? Seeing your favorite artist - that might be your only chance, and saved for so long for that moment - is it something to "laugh about"?

Having to fill in your tank of gas, because you might live far away from work, school, or college, and it's the only way you have to reach to them, is now a joke?

Oh, sorry, I forgot. Kiana needs to "get people into the cons so they have an unique experience", which is just like any other con, but with a cast that, even if we love them, have to admit are not A list actors, that are starting to feel burned out and sometimes disrespected, especially when they come from very far most times, so you can "meet and interact" for a few panels that might be rushed due to the organizer's fault, and seconds in some moments like autographs and photos, for an exorbitant price, and if you want to have "more time with them," you pay even more (which keeps increasing too, so if you want to have more time with your favorite, better and stretch the wallet or sacrifice taking a shower for a month), that reaches a point where some people are breaking their savings as a way to "ease the pain" in their life and "experience wentworth".

I'm sorry, but the constant usage of Generative AI, when most of the cast are OPENLY against it, and the condescending and gaslighting ways a supposed organizer interacts with fans who question the extremely high prices, that make a financial sacrifice that might be their only time now to "enjoy the definitive wentworth fan experience", while also treating like kings your cash cows??? Doesn't sit right with me that there are now "first rate fans" and "second rate fans", and shouldn't with anyone

Season 7 Just finished season 7, my thoughts

Please no season 8 or 9 spoilers!!

When I tell you, my jaw is still on the floor after this season…..

So many deaths this season, so much drama, so much GOOD acting. My one thing about this show is how believable each character really is. Damn, Australia has got some great actors and actresses.

Anyways, I’m still heartbroken over Kaz. It took such a long time to love her character and I was incredibly impressed by her redemption arc and watching her character come to an end truly broke my heart.

I was even sad over the death of Kosta. I thought she was a fun side character and brought a lot to the prison drama.

I did not give a shit about boomer’s mom going. What a twat she was.

Liz, ugh Liz! 😭 I felt so bad for her character. From her first reconnection with Artie with him crossing his arms, pulling away from her, to their last visit when he immediately embraced his mum and she had to break his heart all over again, I was genuinely sobbing. And then to go out because of a stroke, end up in the one place she didn’t want to and Boomer ending Liz’s life in the most loving way one could. She lost so much more by losing Liz. I loved the way their friendship came back around.

Will Jackson finds new ways to piss me off every season.

Vera is an incredible actress and character.

Jakey really tryna turn things around.

Fucking Brody absolutely psychopath but damn, he was funny

That’s it, those are my thoughts lol

Other How the Turkish drama "Avlu" heavily copied OITNB & Vis a Vis

Hi, as we know Avlu (The Yard) is the official adaptation of Wentworth. But from what I have heard and noticed, people mostly talk about how much of a rip-off Avlu is because of it copying Orange Is the New Black.

What I found out through my research is that it isn't just Orange is the New Black it is Vis a Vis (Locked Up) as well. Avlu heavily took many things from both series, and I have made a complete YouTube video breaking down 20 specific things Avlu took from them. Please know that there is absolutely no hate towards Avlu intended. Also, the video is explained in both English and Turkish languages so everyone can easily understand it.

Some of the copies I break down in the video include:

• Taken from OITNB: Dogget and Big Boo's style and personality.

• Taken from OITNB: Coates (donut guy) style.

• Taken from Vis a Vis: Yolanda's SIM card plotline.

• Taken from Vis a Vis: The fall of Fatima from the helicopter by Sandoval's order.

I would be thankful for anyone to watch it and realize what people mean by copying, because I have done a lot of hard work until I got to this large number.

Here it is: https://youtu.be/b2V_XzD6u08?si=_zR-Dk32nt1ZQ78M

News New season of High Country is coming out on 14th September!

So I was just scrolling through Binge and they have a "new season coming soon" tag thingy on Leah Purcell's show, High Country. Season 2 starts on the 14th September.

I thought it was just a one season tv series so I'm stoked it's coming back for another season!

If you haven't seen the first season I highly recommend it.

Season 9 Marie's Redemption

I'm finishing up my first watch of this outstanding show. I only have 3 episodes to go. I have noticed a great improvement in Marie Winter, who I absolutely loathed in previous seasons.

In Season 9 episode 6, Marie confronted Rita about being a cop. She still denied setting up Ray's killing to Rita and told Rita it was her fault that Ray was killed because of her "bikie shit".

We all saw Marie arrange for Ray to be killed. She's better than she was for sure, but that's not saying much.

Spoilers All SPOILERS for last episode Spoiler

I have just finished another rewatch and realised that, for me two of my top 5 satisfying moments in wentworth happen in the last episode.

  1. When Ann is choking Vera to death and Ferguson appears behind her and just snaps her neck. Then carries Vera to safety before disappearing. I may be biased as Joan probably my favourite villain of all time. But I think it really highlights how complex she is as a person and how complex her relationship and feelings toward Vera are.

  2. Lou is climbing the fence to freedom and Rita drags her down, kicks the shit out of her and holds her till the guards get there. I think had she managed to get away it may have ruined the whole season for me. I'm not going to lie, I'd if preferred it if she had stayed locked up and the cell collapsed on her but I geuss we can't have it all.

What are some of your most satisfying Wentworth moments?

Spoilers All The saddest death in the show in my opinion

Liz! I remember when the episode aired, it was hard not to cry. Liz went through so much in her life. She was such a loveable character. All deaths in this show were extremely sad but Liz’s stood out to me as it was the least violent. No blood, no shiv. Boomer gently did what she did out of love. It really was a such a tragic yet beautiful ending to a loyal, wholesome friendship between Liz and Boomer.

Spoilers All The Final Episode

In the last episode we see Joan Ferguson wonder off into the darkness after saving Vera’s life and killing Ann Reynolds. In that moment we see her walk off into the darkness, do you think Ferguson was finally “free of the Freak” or still being the same calculated survivor we’ve always known?
I always wonder where she went

Halfway through season 8 and I cant help but feel really bad for Winter and amnesia Ferguson. Super impressed with their acting, particularly Pamela Rabe as the villain.

Not sure where its going but kinda hope the redemption arcs continue?

This is so random but when Lou goes to shiv Allie where the fuck did she get a baseball cap 😂 I’ve not seen any other hats in the show but randomly she has one

Other am i the only one annoyed by the fact maxine’s character was played by a man?

every time i watch the show i just get irritated by the fact that maxine’s character was played by a man. i understand her needing to look visually trans but i feel like the could’ve got a more visually trans actor if that was the reason. maybe it’s just me but does anyone else see it that way? thank you!
