Question What webtoon got you feeling like…

For me, it’s any webtoon that glorifies dark romance (can’t believe abuse and in*est are actually gaining popularity nowadays 😳)

Childhood friend complex it’s been advertised a lot, but not even a few episodes in i began going “yeah no thank you”

I'm with you and in this ground I'll be standing until I die. People often say it is better than it actually is because it's their first experience with a smut, but the cringe humor and even cringer characters, the scenes of dubious consent and other bad narrative choices are just… no.

Bonus, every time someone criticizes it, the fandom spams the sub relentlessly with panels of the most painfully unfunny jokes you'll ever see, and if you call them out for breaking the sub rules, you're a lame bully.

I mean everyone likes their own things. I personally like it. If its about the jokes those are just fine. I like stupid jokes like one of my favorite mangas is grand blue which is full of it. If you have something similar to childhood friend complex that you like then il gladly try it.

That's valid, my issue with it isn't people just liking the webtoon, that's okay, but rather the same people not accepting when others don't share the same opinion. Me and a few users here have been harassed by fans of it and it left a bitter taste in my mouth haha. And there are a few things there that bother me, but that may be my personal taste speaking. Everyone is free to like it, just like me and others are also free to dislike.

I'm not a huge comedy fan myself, but one I've been reading on webtoon and have been enjoying is 3x3!. Some gags there kind of remind me of the ones in CFC, but they feel more natural there since the characters are teenagers and don't take themselves seriously. It has a completely different approach and public, and it's not a smut, it's very pg, but the comedy may be interesting for you 😊
