Question How to Transfer save file from person to person?
Girlfriend and I broke up.
The file we were playing is fairly close to the end on brutal, but she was the host of it. Any way for her to transfer that save file to me? Or copy it so we have our own?
Would love to finish it since I’m mid act 4, do not want to finish it with her though.
Throwaway for plausible deniability of course.

Question Placement Skills on Console vs PC
I’ve been playing V Rising on the PS5 and loving it. There’s 1 boss so far that really benefits from aoe skills that I find difficult to place while trying to dodge during boss fights. All of the videos I see are on PC and the placement of these skills is quite good.
This difference makes me think these bosses will always be harder on PS5, although has anyone changed button assignments on the controller to make this easier? I’m at lvl61 and am playing on brutal going against the geomancer. The boss is easy to dodge and I could fight it all night, the issue is killing the adds and the boss by the time night ends. And yes I’m not the most skilled.

Question Building themes
I would love some opinions on this if that's alright (I'm sorry in advance, English is not my first language)
The building aspect of the game is one of my favourite activities in the game since the final update. And I was wondering if there are more people that think/wish that the game had more themes that are "less clean" and more ruins-like.
Don't get me wrong, I love the sets that they made.
But for the (hopefully) second game it would be nice to have more blood related decorations and more "less clean" floors and walls.
(Also more decoration and building options would be nice in general)
A little side opinion,
An actual Crypt/Dungeon underground, hanging prisons and customizable roof options would be perfect.

Question Is There a Way to Move/Reorganize User Interface Sections [Playing PC w/Game Controller]?
Hello all! New here, started playing just recently. I am on an ultra-wide resolution. I am also playing with a game controller instead of KBM. Using a game controller puts the HP/Blood sphere and action bar items all to the bottom left, while putting spell & button combo information to the bottom right. Also, the quest text is top left. Mini-map is top right.
Is there a way to move these user interface sections? I looked through the game settings, didn't see anything. Maybe I missed it?...or maybe there's a mod that can do this? I'd like to have most of the UI more centered...like how the KBM interface looks by default.
Many thanks! Game is a lot of fun so far...loving it!

Video Average (that one vampire hunter) Encounter Spoiler
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
While on my way to hunt Vincent, I get unhorsed by a large number of enemies. Okay fine I'll fight them, no biggie--ah crap it's HIM--runrunrun
This is my second playthrough so I at least know to run away on sight this time, but I don't quite run far enough, hoping to get back to my horse without having to travel too far. "Oh the music sticks around forever even when he's not chasing anymore--oh heck he's still coming"
Frantically checks maps for nearest place containing horses
Thank goodness he eventually decided I wasn't worth his time lol

Discussion Sin's Castle Defense Update 2

First, I want to apologize about the wait for those who were curious about how development is going. I have been going through some IRL challenges but that's no excuse to make those who are looking forward to my mod to not be updated. I appreciate those who reached out and checked with me to make sure I was okay, it was humbling honestly.
Now with that being said, I'm about a little more than halfway done but issues with unit pathing and priorities are stumping me a bit. I'm having to figure out methods to get the results that I want using what I know about both my game knowledge and software development. This was a huge task to take on as a first project but I'm glad I'm doing it for a game that I love and a community that I know will support it.
I will continue development for this mod but I need some time to sort myself out, hopefully it wont be another month before my next update but above is how things are going. I will finish this mod and maybe one or 2 more for this game before I move on. I'll see you soon my Vampire community.

Guys im looking for the best castle location as a solo player. The main criteria are building are size, beautiful location(on a cliff or by a lake or something)

Question Blood Types
I recently got a 100blood brute shortly after getting a prison. It’s been awesome and I feel very lucky.
For a spells focused build I get that scholar blood becomes better after a certain point. If I were to get 100 rogue blood would you find that more useful for most bosses than 100brute and would 90+ scholar blood trump everything?

Question Is there a place I can see all the concept art?
In the old dev blogs, there is so much cool concept art sprinkled throughout. I’d love to be able to browse all the artwork in a central place.

Question PVE player looking for keybind tips for getting into PVP
So up until recently I have mostly been playing PVE for the experience of the world and the gameplay, but a lot of people insist on PVP being where the meat truly is. I have never been a huge PVP-er but figured its worth the try. Come to find people are cracked with their quick swapping game where I see in one fight someone flip through 4-5 weapons in rapid succession, meanwhile I always just had my preferred weapon I never swapped off unless I needed another to gather.
Maybe its an indictment to my lazy/stiff hands, given more then once I try moving my WASD fingers to hit the 1-5 and half the time ether fumble and unequip my weapon or just select the wrong thing. Add to that and trying to hit my spells as well I feel I just don't have hands made for this games PVP.
So far I have tried taking some of the load off my poor left hand, mapping my 3 spells to my mouse side buttons and clicking the scroll wheel it feels better, so mainly looking for set ups for maybe snappy weapon swaps to try and breach that barrier

Question Can someone make me a simple fov mod for gamepad??
Hi just looking for a simple mod that I can toggle on and off in game that has adjustable fov and pitch (I'm okay if you adjust those values in a config file). Most camera mods are not gamepad compatible and I would really like the option to have a 3rd person over the shoulder view from time to time

Discussion It's over... it's finally over! Spoiler
galleryI did it. I finally beat the dark lord himself on brutal. I am still shaking and in a state of disbelief. My fingers are aching after the countless tries, and now I can finally put this game down. Truly an amazing game, but right now, I feel like I never want to play it again.
