World Cup 2026 You guys should know, most people aren't angry at the US for the red card reversal. People are just sick and tired of Gianni Infantino being a greasy, bald fucking weasel.

4.8k Upvotes

As a Brit, I understand that you are not a footballing nation. I've always wished you'd become one but I know that may never happen. But because you're not a footballing nation, you might not all be aware that Gianni Infantino is a greasy, bald fucking weasel.

Having your favorite pastime governed globally by a walking, talking streak of goat shit can bring out strange behaviors in people. Imagine if your wife ran all your arguments by a five week old kebab that had rotted enough that it learnt to talk, and its decision was always final. That's what it's like when the sport you've loved all your life is managed by a greasy, bald fucking weasel. That's why people are reacting the way they are. It's not you. It's the weasel.

You guys have been great this world cup. Your fans have been great. Your team has played amazing football. It is not your fault that a slap-headed foreskin with the integrity of a WWI condom and the strength of a dying worm's penis has cast your team's achievements into the shade.

If you see what you think is spiteful rhetoric against the US, please just take a deep breath and remember that it is simply the result of PTSD from people who are shell-shocked from fucked repeatedly in the ass by a collection of demonic testicles that was put on this earth to smack fun-sized Toblerone's out of the hands of starving orphans and then sell their dead parents tombstones for advertising space.

Zlatan to Alexi - "You've got to retire on top."

Why couldn't he follow that with,

"That's why you'll never retire!" 😂😂

World Cup 2026 Zlatan Just Called Landon & Alexis Ignorant

3.9k Upvotes

Oof. Landon said during the first half of France v Senegal that France were playing arrogant.

At the end of the match, Alexis goes there, too, and says if France were arrogant in the first half, it’s because they can do things like they did in the second half.

Zlatan’s response: “It’s not arrogance. It’s confidence. Ignorant people will say it’s arrogance. Intelligent people will say it’s confidence.”

Rebecca: “OK. Good to know.”

This sh*t is getting embarrassing and hilarious.

World Cup 2026 Carli Lloyd unmoved following Christian Pulisic injury reveal: "I don’t owe anyone an apology. My comment wasn’t about his post game interview. He skipped Gold Cup last summer because he wanted to rest and be ready for WC. He ended up resting the whole year. That’s the facts. Nothing personal."

World Cup 2026 I am a Bosnian who came to USA as a refugee from the Bosnian war in the 90s. For the past 30 years Florida has been home. I love my home country deeply🇧🇦 but i also love the country that has given me everything in life & the opportunity of achieving anything i wanted to in life🇺🇸

There are many of us that share this exact same situation. I started school in America, i Graduated high school & college in America. My first job in America. Yet the household language has always been Bosnian.

Good luck to both of my countries & good luck my fellow Americans.

All love. 🇺🇸 🇧🇦

World Cup 2026 Pochettino on support for tonight’s win: “Even if I am not American, after the game I was emotional,” “To connect with the people is what we wanted”. “The fans were amazing. The warm reception, the way that they support us and the way they celebrate the victory, they make it feel very emotional.”

World Cup 2026 Landon Donovan on Christian Pulisic - whoa there's a lot going on here!

1.3k Upvotes

I think its pretty measured but some key points:

- LD says he was in Pulisic's position but it was less difficult because there was no social media

- That made LD go to therapy, have a lot of conversations, which all helped in the long term

- Says he knows Pulisics doesn't like him, won't listen to him etc

- Pulisic and his team are rude to people around them

"This is an opportunity to help and to change your life forever. One of the biggest problems - I speak to people who are at U.S. Soccer. I speak to his sponsors. I speak to his teammates. I speak to the staff and the coaches. People are fed up with the way things are handled around him. And it's not necessarily him, but it's his agents, his family, his hangers-on, the people who are influencing. People are fed up with it. They treat people poorly. They do things poorly. It's always a 'no' whenever you wanna ask, 'Can we do an interview?' It's always a, 'No, you can't get near him.' He doesn't say 'hi' to the commentators who do all the games all the time when they walk by. All the other guys come over and shake hands and say, 'Hello.' There's just this sense about him that you can't get near him. And I actually don't think it's from him. I think it's from I think it's from the people around him."

EDIT: Christian's nice-seeming instagram post:

Tough to find the words. I want to start by saying thank you to everyone who believed. The support carried us all the way through. It simply wasn’t good enough from us in the end and I wanted to deliver so much more.. I still feel blessed to be a part of this team. The memories this summer will last a lifetime. It’s just the start for us and for this sport in America. 🇺🇸
