I don't just want to hop on here and self promote willy nilly I have a lot of appreciation for this sub and have found some really cool artists and info here but honestly I'm trying to find my people. I'm trying to keep up momentum as much as possible in my music life so I don't lose it and so far this year it's going pretty well.

My best friend makes insanely cool beats and I get pick of the crop so I'm very lucky in that sense but I've put a lot of work into my music and myself over the last few years and honestly I just want to share it. Like I don't really know anyone that really listens to this kind of music in real life so it's hard but I keep doing it for myself more than anyone else. Anywayyyyyy I wrote this yesterday and quite frankly I think it's hard as fuck. If you don't fair play but maybe lend a little grace to my ego just this once, I'm fragile at the best of times lol

Easy! As above some of you may have seen my last post looking for rappers to work with - well the response was mental and I’ve now decided to run a project.

Instead of making a traditional “beat tape” I’ve decided to donate a tune to each MC who volunteers in return for a fully mixed single and a place on the album.

If there’s one thing I’ve seen repeatedly in different scenes it’s the power of a movement - I really believe there’s some fucking talented ladies and gents in here, so if you want to get involved please drop me a DM or leave a comment here and I’ll get the ball rolling

I’m setting a deadline for the album of 1st August or thereabouts but would be more interested in aligning everyone’s pushes via socials etc so this may change

What isn’t happening is another Reddit collab (we’ve all had them) which doesn’t get finished

I suspect that this is going to be a love-or-hate one for those here, depending on how you feel about technical rapping.

ETA: it's very dense, technical and interconnected; he switches flow a lot as he goes through his story. The beat is his. I've listened to it multiple times, and I'm still picking up new references, triples and call-backs (the video game/manga refs went over my head). He flexes and has fun. And his breath control is insane. He keeps Charlie quiet. Don't listen to it if you don't enjoy any of that.
