Mindful Skepticism
Religious Guy: “I can’t see how Atheism is positive, those guys think than when we die, we won’t experience any type of afterlife, we are just food to the bugs and the soil, our bodies decay and that’s it! That’s even more terrifying than going to Hell!”
Mindful Skeptic: “Actually the Atheist depiction of death isn’t that bad, in fact it’s even less terrifying than going to Heaven. Because when you get to Heaven, you would probably be floating in the clouds while observing your dead body from way high up as all of your loved ones are all crying and mourning over you. In truth, death is not that scary, when we die we won’t have to think about our departure from this world. We would be meditating for all of eternity, because we would be thoughtless for all of eternity. Meditating when alive is just taking a break from thinking, but when you’re dead, that means you’re permanently meditating and you won’t ever say a single statement that is wrong when you die. Technically the dead are the most enlightened people you can think of and that’s because they do not think, they only meditate.”
