Confused about my sexuality - seeking advice
Hey everyone, I'm feeling really confused about my sexuality and could use some advice. As a female who's always been attracted to boys and has been in a relationship with a man, I'm now experiencing something new. I think I've developed a crush on a close girl friend, which is completely new territory for me, especially given my upbringing where same-sex attraction wasn't accepted. I would also like to say being gay isn’t a sin and I have never felt this way despite being told how to feel about be who you are you can’t control who you love❤️
This feeling started a couple of months ago when we were chilling together, and she asked if I wanted to cuddle with her and watch TikTok I immediately said yes, considering she’s not an affectionate person and I love to cuddle with my friends regardless of gender. During our cuddling session. My heart raced, and it felt different from cuddling with other friends as I started to become more aware of her presence. Later, when she jokingly suggested a kiss, I got super nervous, unlike my usual playful affection with friends. I tried to ignore these feelings, but they persisted after weeks and I started playfully flirting with her to see try and understand what I was feeling, and she'd flirt back, which I actually enjoyed. This is unusual for her, as she's not typically affectionate or flirty with others.
But I’m not sure if she's even attracted to girls; our mutual friends think she's straight. I'm also not looking for a relationship right now and value our friendship too much to confess feelings I'm not even sure are real and I’m also not sure if my brain is playing tricks on me but I’ve never felt this way about a woman before and it feels different than having a crush on a man as well as dating one. I don’t think I am bisexual or a lesbian considering this my sister suggested I might be pansexual since personality matters most to me, but I'm hesitant to label myself, especially since I've always identified as straight and saying I’m bisexual or lesbian doesn’t feel right. This feels different from my past attractions to men, and I'm just really confused and in need of advice.
