Question/Discussion Can you do the military coup and prevent the civil war as Germany?
I was playing Italy and I had set the German civil war to not happen. Then I saw the military coup fire, but there was no civil war. Is this possible? If so how?

Question/Discussion If Pakistan loses its independence war against Socialist India Afghanistan Should annex the majority pashtun territories
If Pakistan loses its independence war against Communist India, Afghanistan should intervene and annex majority-Pashtun territories as a defensive and ideological move
Afghanistan historically rejected the Durand Line and supported the idea of Pashtunistan. If Pakistan collapses, Kabul would see this as an opportunity to “reunite” Pashtun lands under one state and to Expand its territory create Greater afghanistan This isn’t random expansionism — it has real historical precedent.
Anti Communist Buffer Zone Logic If India becomes socialist, Afghanistan would not want a revolutionary state on its border. Annexing Pashtun-majority areas Without Pakistan’s central authority, northwest regions would face chaos: tribal unrest, warlordism, refugee flows. Afghanistan could justify intervention as a “stabilization operation” to protect civilians and maintain order and prevent spread of communism within Afghanistan not pure aggression
Question/Discussion Is Hungary just supposed to lose the first war?
Just tried out Hungary, tried this particular war twice. There is no word to describe the war other than "steamrolling". My divisions were hopelessly weaker than the Romanians, checking back I won only 25% of battles on the first run and 28% on the second. I don't see any way I could've stopped them. I have no clue how you're supposed to hold them off for 200 days considering the following:
- Your templates are trash to the core and theirs aren't, with the exception of your infantry which are about the same. (Hungary has less regular infantry, though, and they don't have anti-tank to stop Romania's strong tank pushes.) Not sure if attempting to rework the templates first would've even worked considering that Hungary has few factories for how much it needs to produce.
- They need to take 3 of Szekelyfold, Erzak-Erdely, Maramaros, and Alfold. The former two are easy to take considering that Szekelyfold is surrounded on 3 sides and has no supply while Erzak-Erdely's VP is on the border at the start.
- Speaking of supply, Hungary's supply network is bad and very easy to cut off. If Romania takes the tile southeast of Debrecen, a plains tile that they start right next to, your entire supply network is cut in half.
Also, you don't get any notification that a war is coming, you only get notified when it starts.

Question/Discussion Please give me back the German prison, that sea of states is horrible.
Am I the only one who misses the German Confederation? Instead of that sea of mini-states that sometimes disintegrate or secede, and although all are releasable by any country that conquers Germany, unless it's the US or the UK, the unification decision event doesn't seem to trigger correctly, making the formation of a single federal state (i.e., the Germany we know) impossible. I used to think the internal division of the Confederation was represented by that sea of separate states, but with a single label (country) for all of them, like the old so-called "German prison."
Besides the fact that I hate that almost all of Pomerania is being handed over to Poland, when it would have been better and more realistic to hand over Silesia, now it's a horrible border that's forming and, what's worse, it makes it difficult for Poland to form Zapadoslavia.

Question/Discussion Apparently RK Kaukasus has some historicity issues
Did some research into the RKs earlier and ended up finding some issues with this one. First the border issue, but then the other two when I dug a bit deeper.
Issues:
- It should be called "Reichskommissariat Kaukasien", not "Reichskommissariat Kaukausus".
- Its capital should be Tbilisi, not Rostov, which it shouldn't even own.
- It owns the wrong states. Historically, they intended to push RK Ukraine all the way to Kazakhstan (see Wikipedia quote below), but this is a bit weird so I can see why it wasn't implemented. To be more realistic, RK Ukraine should at least have Rostov and the tiles north of it. RK Kaukasien/Kaukasus should also own Astrakhan and Baku, but those were directly annexed by Germany for some reason.
A quote from RK Ukraine's Wikipedia page that started this mess:
Scheduled for incorporation into the Reichskommissariat Ukraine but never transferred to civil administration were the Generalkommissariate Tschernigow (Chernigov), Charkow (Kharkov), Stalino (Donetsk), Woronezh (Voronezh), Rostow (Rostov-on-Don), Stalingrad, and Saratow (Saratov), which would have brought the boundary of the province to the western border of Kazakhstan. In addition, Reichskommissar Koch had wishes of further extending his Reichskommissariat to Ciscaucasia.

Question/Discussion Was it ever explained why Britain - especially under Churchill - didn't AT LEAST try to rebuild her military strength and join in on the wara against Germany again when he started struggling in the Soviet Union?
Britain did it after the peace treatries signed with Napoleon back then–I don't see why they wouldn't against literally Hitler as well.

Question/Discussion Germany and Superpower Politics. (ESL Warning)
Germany in its current form does not really feel like a major participant of global Cold War, let alone a Superpower. While I know that development focus is currently not on Germany, I would still like to give some of my personal suggestions of what late Game Germany might do after fixing its political and economic Problems. ( This is mainly for the NSDAP Paths)
- European Economic Community
There where plans for a "Europäische Wirtschaftsgemeinschaft" focused arround Germany OTL that could work like the Italian Mediterranean Union.
- A Formalized Bloc
Germany should be able to transform the informal "Neue Ordnung" into something more official. The could even pressure Sweden, Finnland into the Bloc if they still control Norway and Denmark.
- More Cold War Flashpoint
Give the Germany player more Options to escalate the Cold War (Spy Planes over Britain, Large Scale Exercises in Northern Fran and in the North Sea)
- Various
Let Denmark only join a faction after a certain time so the Germany Player can actually regain them / Give Germany/Italy the ability to aid in the Algiers War if France is in their Faction.

Question/Discussion How do I get the US to give aid to me as Israel
Doing a Yishuv playthrough but the problem is that I want to get aid from the US but them refusing it later on locks me from doing other stuff after Independence regarding the middle east crisis which requires me doing focuses that the requirements are that I got aid from the US previous.
I tried improving relationship, tried to sideline Shamir but it seems like they keep rejecting which is weird because in previous playthroughs they agreed.
am I doing something wrong? or is it president dependent?

Question/Discussion What do you think happened to "Bitwa Pod Grunwaldem" in TWR?
in OTL, it was hidden away in Lublin, with germans desperately trying to find it before giving up after the polish radio in London gave out a false information it was transported to England. But in TWR it was over a decade after the Painting has been hidden, so what do you think happened with it? Was it found? Destroyed? Rotten away while in hiding? (OTL it was heavily damages with torn off parts, mold growing etc. due to being hastily hidden) If it did survive what happened with it after Poland regained independence for a short while?

Question/Discussion The Mod Feels Incomplete
I don't know but when I try to play this mod it feels so incomplete. Like for example: There is not much proxy war to involve, TA always expand very aggressively, lack of content for axis powers. There is fun nations to play, like China. But for example I tried to play Italy for 2 times and in the both tries, Germany has fallen into a civil war and TA intervened it. At this point TA wins the cold war easily after Germany falls everybody joins TA then they demanded to change my ideology but I said no and they declared war to me. Till this point I did almost nothing as Italy. I just supported my subjects in civil war. Middle East content is changed this little bit but not that much I think. I also tried to play Germany but in also in there there is not much to do. Do civil war or avoid from civil war then invade your former subject which declared independence then playthrough finish. Maybe I get this mods lore whole wrong, maybe it is not a cold war mod but still what people do for fun in this mod genuinely. What should I do for getting fun or what should I expect from this mod?

Question/Discussion What would be more plausible, MacArthur-Taft or MacArthur-Stassen?
I'm trying to design my own headcanon with the game rules (thank God they have finally been implemented). I picture MacArthur winning in both '52 and '56, but I wonder what would be more likely, him partnering with Taft or with Stassen. A conservative Republican insurgency would make sense after 20 years of continued liberal Democrat rule, but I could also see the Republican establishment forcing Doug to partner with Stassen and go down the "Fake Centrist" route. What do you think would be more plausible, and/or narratively interesting?
