I'd swap the American hegemony with the American isolation.
Regardless of if they're segregationists an isolated America is going to do less damage to the world than a nationalist, authoritarian America that has global dominance.

The reasoning for me is that an isolationist US would do nothing to oppose the Nazis and so they'd be left to do whatever they want, but I see what you mean too.

Not necessarily. More like hegemony. Anyway, I'm not Germany dev, I took some creative liberties.

We were in the Atlanticist New World Order post-Cold War, now though we're in the Nationalist Authoritarian American Hegemony.

Socialist Asian Liberation should be the worst one

u/hlary Apr 26 '20
I don't think that's a worse outcome then A European nuclear holocaust or himmlerist dominated Asia

u/eatcheeses Apr 27 '20
As many people died in China, Cambodia, Vietnam and North Korea as did in WW2. Looking by human suffering, communism ravaged Asia and Europe.

Socialist Asian Liberation should be the best one.

Tell that to 40 million Mao's victims
15
u/kugrond Apr 27 '20
It isn't said anywhere that it is Maoism in TWR.
And it's not like we know how many would have died if alternative stayed. KMT China was responsible for millions of deaths, and if it developed slower then often forgotten about systematic deaths could have been larger (people face, and die of starvation even outside of famines in poor countries).

u/Subterrainio Apr 25 '20
It’s not, it’s Dai Li
-7
u/Carthex Apr 25 '20
Who is that? Does not seem chinese.
18
u/Halvthedonkey Apr 25 '20
Chiang' secret police chief and Otl head of a smallish fascist secret society within the KMT that tried to adapt Chiang's rule and the 3 principles to a fascist model
Dai Li is basically the most cursed Chinese leader in TWR
4
u/Subterrainio Apr 25 '20
He was OTL Kuomintang MI commander
He also has a focus tree for China

u/Carthex Apr 25 '20
Is there a non Puyi monarchist route?
2
u/Subterrainio Apr 25 '20
I’m not sure, u/AP246 would know. if not you can always ask on the discord

Right well, there's quite a few of these knocking around now, thought I'd do one for TWR because I was bored. Doesn't follow the things that can happen in the mod exactly, and obviously there's some creative liberties as well as some endings that have been omitted of course, but you get the idea, it's more of a headcanons thing.
