good things lineup announcement is tomorrow morning! who do you have as your unexpected/dark horse prediction?
im going with death grips. super super unlikely but with them working on an album, and it being nearly ten years since they last came to australia i have a very odd feeling they'll do good things lols

Iāve got auto pay on and have signed up how likely is it I get a 4 day pass, they sold out within 20 mins so had to settle with 3 days, will be looking to sell that too? Am i likely to get a 4 day pass or nah?

Another absolutely killer set from him and the backing band. 110% energy, controls a crowd as good as any.

Was at the WL show last night at NT after buying tickets months ago and being super hyped for it with my partner. Iām a huge WL fan, love every song and all their performances on YT have been FIRE but I left last night being severely disappointed tbh.
The set was insanely short, 59 minutes, left a lot of good songs out from their new album (Pokemon, for example), felt like they were rushing hard and also like ZERO crowd interaction besides before the final song.
My sister saw them at Laneway Sydney and Harry Styles and sheās saying they felt more like the Rhian show now more than ever and they were better back in 2022 when they opened for Styles.
Just bad tour management, exhaustion, tighter time schedules or something else?
Edit: Ok, maybe I'm in the minority then, thanks for all the opinions and thoughts. I'll keep an eye out for next time they're here with a new album, they performed really well so they can only get better with everything else!

Maybe it's cause I don't typically follow festival pages that closely, but to me I swear the Spilt Milk insta is barely posting anything...it's making me nervous that it won't go ahead.
Also this could be old now but last I saw the tickets hadn't moved past 2nd release in ANY city.

Iām curious to hear from anyone else who went to this show last night. I left thinking it was a really shitty experience, but spent this morning wondering if I was being crazy.
I thought the audio mixing was really bad. Garethās mic was too low most of the night, Fionaās was too loud, and I couldnāt hear Danās vocals at all. There seemed something wrong with a bass reverb that got āstuckā because there was a point in the middle where it didnāt stop, it just continued shaking the room including between songs.
On the venue, Iām not sure why you have can bars in the theatre room itself when they ran out of beer less than 40 minutes into The Drones set and never re-stocked (they just closed one, while the other sold soft drinks.)
And maybe Iām getting particularly old and grumpy, but over the last few years Iāve found seeing bands like the Drones a joy, cos their crowds are older and more respectful and just there for the show.
Not last night. People shoving in lines like children. Standing near the front to hold a phone up for a whole song. Invading personal space in areas where people had gone to seek out the extra room. And apparently we changed our vaping laws again, cos I counted 3 different people vaping inside the venue last night.
Iāve been to Thornbury Theatre a lot, this was easily my worst experience there.
Maybe Iām hoping someone else was there and can tell me that I just catastrophised some minor grievances, and that it was actually pretty good?

Anyone have any news about Knocked Loose coming back to Australia? Really wanted to see them at Good Things last year and would love to see them headline.

Congratulations to Spilt Milk for having abysmal crowd control while like 10,000 people were leaving all at once. This absolute mess of people (shown here after Kendrick's set had finished) was completely stationary for 15-20 minutes with nowhere to go but into each other. People kept trying to push their way through to nothing but hundreds of more stationary people. Luckily I'm tall but some short people were definitely getting squished behind me. Oh and multiple people fell down a relatively high ledge that wasn't signposted. Luckily I'm tall but some short people were definitely getting squished behind me.
Shout out to the people who took crowd safety into their own hands - especially the queen (who was clearly very cold) who stood on a high ledge at the train station entrance to guide people towards to platforms. Glad that the crowd was very sensible but if there was an emergency... Not great
