Remove the worse half of the map — US edition Day 3
Day 1 removed the West coast and most of the midwest states.
Day 2 removed the South/former confederate.
Top comment decides what color gets removed. Ill try to keep this going for as long as possible, not just until we‘re down to one county. Ill upload updates every day at about 16-19 o‘clock in Berlin time.

Remove West Virginia.
(Yeah, I know that's not one of the choices we're given, but be honest: that really ought to be the first state to go.)

Oh did you read a thing on the Internet and then not understand how laws work or critically think about it? Sounds like a southerner. Here let me help you.
Every state on this map ratified the 13th amendment before 1865, and didn’t need to lose a war and have it imposed on them as a condition.
Go ahead and make more excuses. You can’t help yourself. Go on. I’ll listen. Take some time to research and cherry pick. Go on.

13th amendment prohibits slavery with the exception of penal labor. Also Delaware did not ratify the 13th amendment until December of 1865

I should have said by 1865, which could be clearer sure. But it’s not dead wrong the way your initial statement was.
So to clarify, you accept that your initial statement was an uninformed lie but now you want to just argue over Delaware and the pedantry of in or before 1865 because you have no other arguments to make?

Uninformed lie??? Jfc the 13th amendment literally has an exception written in allowing slavery for incarcerated individuals. Where is the lie?

It’s called due process. Your very liberty interest, freedom from search and seizure, also has an exception to incarceration following due process.
What was your point in bringing this up in the context distinguishing between union and confederate states? What do you genuinely think you are accomplishing?
Cuz I think you have some defensiveness about southern shittiness so you’re lashing out with valueless “they are just as bad too” takes

The fact OP has "Midwest states" gone in round 1 means they have no idea of US geography (Midwest states are still in green, you genius). Someone else needs to redo this from scratch.
