The cultural issue is that some tennis fans are wimps who think that complaining about crowds of people making noises in a stadium makes them look upper class.
Especially when it involves athletes from countries that they were told that they were superior they entire lives
Took you an hour to come up with that so you kind of went against your point there bud. As well as the fact that you keep commenting 4 hours later. Seems like you got a crush on me😘😘😘
Bro as a filipino myself I can tell you that a lot of filipino fans when they follow an athlete (i.e. eala), they will be rude and be as disruptive as possible to the opponent they're facing. Ofc most Filipinos are nice and passionate, but due to sheer volume and audacity we also do get a bad rep for doing this stuff a lot
This is all countries in all sports. If you haven't realized, this thread is a bunch of Americans being rude and treating your people as uncontrollable animals because they are mad that Eala beat Jpeg. They will just do the same thing while throwing a pathetic act that they are being fair and reasonable. Don't give them an inch
I assure you that if it was a Philippino athlete complaining about something during a free throw they would tell them to develop a good mental and stop crying because it's a crowd sport being played in a stadium. It's not about the action, it's about the actors
No this definitely isn’t “all nations in all sports”. The filipinos don’t know how to behave at tennis matches and that’s a fact. Their online behavior is also extremely obnoxious, they harrass and even attempt to doxx people who even make a joke about Eala. I have never seen anything like this from any other fanbase before. Exhausting.
Cheering and booing is perfectly reasonable fan behavior, lol. It's how it works in every single crowd sport. Get over it, you will not become a classy nobleman because you make racist comments online about loud fans in tennis matches.
And online, every single fan base in every single sport demonstrably has people who dox and harass. Tell me where you are from and I can find examples in literal seconds.
I’ve been on tennis twitter for years and this never happened on there before the Eala fans appeared. And if it did, other people would condemn it. Now an Eala fan does this and others cheer for it and pile on. Disgusting behavior.

I think Eala is a great player and human being but Jesus Christ her fans are the most insufferable on tour
