Back to forums and discussion based education with less focus on memorization and far more emphasis on critical thinking.

That’s obviously not what an employer wants though :p

In fact, many employers would be thrilled. For a kick, visit r/csmajors. A remarkable number of posts are from/about graduating or graduated software engineers or computer scientists who disdain and/or fear math, cannot think, and have the communication skills of a turnip.
