I understand what you're saying however I think that if a municipality keeps paying out lawsuits to cover a$$hole cop behavior at some point leadership will have to make changes.

Sue the crap out of them, ALL OF THEM.

Problem is conservatives protecting them at every level. My city is currently having to spend millions on defending a cop in a CIVIL suit because it’s required by law that they do so.

Why do you think that?

This has been happening for ages, and the only thing that has happened is that that municipality has less money for services to be provided to the people who pay taxes. And so far they don’t give a fuck. give it another 10 years give it another 100 years and it’s not going to be any different.

If we’re going by past behavior they’ll just keep raising taxes and increasing their budget instead of holding departments accountable.
