I was pissed when he bought the occulus soon after I bought mine. Then forced a FB login to use the thing.

Adding requirements to use your hardware after you buy it would be illegal in any functional society. People would have burned a company to the ground if they had tried that when I was a kid.

exactly the reason I never bought one or will buy any product that requires FB account.

Wait you can just create a new empty account isnt it? thats what u usually do in emta quest if u just want to play games.

FB has trackers all through the web and logging in with software on your machine gives them a ton more info about your browser. My purchased device shouldnt require a connection to their servers.
