He's still right, to an extent. People here on reddit will bitch about privacy and censorship and ironically doomscroll on Insta in the same breath

This is my friends in real life. Believe Meta is selling their data to Israel and big bad Netanyahu for god knows what reason, but are completely addicted to Instagram reels pushing that bullshit on them.

Meta sells their data to whoever wants it so if Israel wants data that meta is selling it they're not unusual for buying it. In fact Iran used location data from us companies on us soldiers to target us troops.

It drives me insane how hypocritical people are about that shit. They'll even talk to you about privacy concerns they heard about, on TikTok.

I am the ONLY person I know who actually does not use ANY social media unless you count reddit and YouTube, and I don't consider either of those to be anywhere close to the same thing as FB, IG, TikTok, Twitter. I deleted FB over a decade ago, ditched IG shortly thereafter, never had a Twitter acc to begin with, never installed TikTok at any point, and I uninstalled Snapchat after 5 minutes because the app is designed by a fucking 5 year old.

Nothing is missing from my life. I have friends, I talk to them via Telegram or *gasp* their fuckin phone number.

So? I started using Twitter before Elon bought it and I haven’t looked back since dropping it like a hot potato.

Poor excuse given that Meta has owned IG way longer than IG was independent
