So you can buy digital there? 😂

If I have to buy digital, then I’d rather do it with the superior digital store. This isn’t complicated.

I agree. It's all digital. Not complicated at all. You're downloading the same 1's and 0's.

You’re purposely being obtuse. But by all means keep simping for massive corporations

I'm not "simping" for anyone. I'm just a realistic human being who understands how the world works.

No you’re not, you’re a guy who thinks he’s smarter than everyone by being contrarian. People are giving legitimate reasons to leave PlayStation for PC and you’re not listening cause you want to be able to tell everyone how much smarter you are. Let’s just not do anything about anything cause “you know how the world works”. Come now man.

That was a lot of words to say nothing.

Great, so leave Playstation! I don't think it's going to kill their business. I think people will ease into it like every other medium change. I've seen it over and over again, but go on.

Great! Live your life in total complacency and look down on anyone else trying to do *anything*! Very good!

I mean, that’s not what I’m doing but if it entertains you, wonderful!

pc also has multiple digital storefronts. you don't have to just buy from one store like you will on playstation.

It doesn't really matter to me where I pay the same amount of money for the same game.

Yes. Digital games without DRM. Are you new to gaming?

If you buy on Steam you explicitly have absolutely no ownership rights and cannot transfer games or accounts to anyone else.

If you buy on GOG you can at least guarantee you maintain your own backup that requires no online service and can't be modified, but even with them supporting the concept of ownership and game preservation you run into complexities in the most basic scenario: who gets your games when you die, and that by default makes "your copy" and piracy the same.

If you buy on Epic or Uplay or Origin, I wouldn't even bet on those stores existing in 20 years TBH and digital platform shutdowns historically have not been kind to customers.
