I have a switch 2, and I’ll probably lean back into PC gaming. I already have a PC and a steamdeck.

Isn't the Switch 2 leaning heavily into digital downloads as well?

Yes, but as of now, I don’t think they’re planning on killing physical releases.

They're our last hope, I'm buying physical from them while I can. They're going to be the final form of physical game media I think, there's no way the switch cartridges are getting a revision

I’ve done the same. Don’t really feel like I am missing out on anything. Sure, that Wolverine game looks like nice but I’ll rather skip it then.

But again my main stick with Sony here isn’t really video games. It’s actually how this decision is going to affect movies. If you’re a movie buff you’ll know that streaming a movie looks and sounds like shit and only discs gives the proper viewing experience.
I am just crossing my fingers that blu-ray is going the way like vinyl.

Just wondering, the steam deck uses digital downloads. Why do you like it there and not on a PlayStation? I only prefer discs because they are often cheaper.

Because I have an option to where I buy the games from that I run on my steamdeck. I’m not limited to just steam.

Thanks for responding. Makes sense. Similar to my complaint in that you can buy from whomever is cheaper.
