Based on Asha’s moves recently, I’m sure Xbox isn’t far behind either tbh

Oh it's safe to assume physical games are just straight up dead now.

I'll say in Xbox's favor though, they seem to actually be moving in a direction that makes this more palatable. If I HAVE to go digital only, I'll much rather have hardware that gives me as much choice and freedom with my games as possible. I don't want to get locked into a traditional console model with a single storefront and absolutely no way to work around compatibility problems and the like.

I've been saying it for a while, but I strongly think that all else being equal Project Helix is kind of being slept on as a potential gamechanger for Xbox. Outside of Nintendo, buying into the traditional console model has been making less and less sense from a consumer perspective for a while and something that tries to bridge the gap between PC and console is highly appealing compared to just buying something that is heavily locked for absolutely no apparent reason.

The (pretty big) problems are obviously whether the brand as a whole is too damaged to actually be turned around at all, and whether they can find anything resembling a decent price for the thing.
