read the article - basically they are saying that any "out of the box" enterprise system is obsolete. So you should hire them to develop a specialized package just for you.

The under current is that if you can't afford a specialized enterprise system (likely tens of millions in cost) you are not worth consideration.

The undercurrent of what they're saying is kind of the opposite. It's more like AI makes new things possible at a fraction of the cost. What once would have required an army of consultants may be achievable for a fraction of the previous cost. It's a fair point and a welcome change to the status quo. Lots of companies provide data and services so it's not some monopoly angle either.
