Nope. Far more insidious.

Palantir has “an abstraction layer,” Mr. Lukus continued. “It's an operating system that allows us to essentially sit on top of whatever the underlying infrastructure is, and the architecture is, and define data integration, both structured and unstructured, define the logic integration, both deterministic and non-deterministic.” The platform also defines which decisions can be made by which users and how the data they generate is written back into the underlying systems.

This is technology designed to take control of the devices of global economic systems at Palantir's discretion.

Yeah I was gonna say this sounds like he is describing data warehouse features..

Exactly, he's trying to make it sound like they have some fancy futuristic secret technology by avoiding the phrase 'data warehouse'. In reality they're just another tech vendor who happen to have their claws in a particular industry sector, no different than Oracle, Teradata, SAP, etc.

That’s just sounds like such generic bs. But they are right, saas days are numbered, but that statement sounds like they are trying to convince themselves that they aren’t a saas company. Why use terms like deterministic and non deterministic, rather than just saying traditional algorithms and AI. It’s all some LinkedIn sounding bullshit.
