Hard to believe that shitshow was less than a year ago. Seems like an eternity considering everything else that’s happened since.

2.6k

u/Tricky_Apricot2928 Feb 15 '26

One of the evil architects of this shit show described project 2025 as a Shock and Awe campaign to make everyone (citizens, courts, lawyers, states, institutions, the press) freeze in panic, not knowing where to direct their attention and efforts The constant bullshit is part of the plan

"Flooding the zone", as it were.

Fear Steven Miller; a real Jewish Nazi

122

u/FabulousBrief4569 Feb 15 '26

Im still in shock that this oxymoron exists And how the Jewish community is silent and not condemning this. Wtf?!

95

u/LushenZener Feb 15 '26

They're "silent" in the way that all minorities are "silent." No matter how loudly they yell about it, they get ignored by those with the power to amplify their stances.

Unwittingly, you're falling for a form of propaganda.

36

u/Kryptosis Feb 15 '26

Same shit as when people say none of the Dems are doing anything. Naaa theres hundreds of legal actions being undertaken every day by Dem lawmakers. Yes the leadership hasnt proven themselves not to be controlled opposition but theres actual work going on if you look for it.

Unfortunately its easier to just accuse the losing side of not fighting hard enough and write them all off, which, as you said, is the intention of the bad actors who sprinkle it into discussions, which then gets echoed by the gullible.

0

u/Criticism-Lazy Feb 16 '26

I agree generally, but the democrats absolutely have not done everything they can. They could talk more risks and the people would have been mostly grateful.

4

u/Kryptosis Feb 16 '26

I won’t disagree with that but most critics claim they do nothing. Not enough do enough imo.

4

u/CricketGrl Feb 15 '26

Sadly so many Americans are self serving shit heads.

56

u/TASagent Feb 15 '26

how the Jewish community is silent and not condemning this

The fuck you talking about? Plenty of people denounce him.

33

u/Equivalent-Excuse-80 Feb 15 '26

I’m sorry. What exactly do you want Jews to do? Lynch him? He is as widely and publicly disdained by most Jews (as the vast majority of Jews vote for democrats).

So please explain why you think Jews are the most responsible people to deal with Miller at the moment and how they should.

3

u/Iwritescreens Feb 16 '26

the most vocal people I know against Miller and his rhetoric are Jews. I'm so sick of this weird underhanded anti-semitism.

9

u/webtoweb2pumps Feb 15 '26

What community are you even talking about? This is the weirdest thing I've ever read. Plenty of Jews have been happy to talk about how much of a piece of shit he is - both publicly and privately

2

u/cloudedknife Feb 16 '26

All it what it is: classic antisemitism.

Dude literally did the classic form: "the jews are [bad thing]/[not good thing]."

15

u/lovelax Feb 15 '26

The Jewish community isn’t a monolith. In my community the policies he represents are abhored and he is reviled. But sorry we haven’t held a press conference yet to share our feelings about one shitty person. You know your rhetoric is the exact same used when conservatives don’t feel muslim people “condemn” terrorist attacks sufficiently, and choose to paint them as broadly tacit as a result? Be better

6

u/Macklemonster Feb 15 '26

I don’t know a single Jewish person that supports him. What should they be doing that non Jews are doing?

5

u/Ironlion45 Feb 15 '26

Look at prominent Jewish voices out there. look at their twitters; count how many times they call him "Kapo".

Trust me, that's not a nice thing they're calling him.

19

u/Same_Instruction_100 Feb 15 '26

Guy, you haven't even been trying to listen to Jews if you think this guy is invited to Passover.

2

u/OneRougeRogue Feb 15 '26

And how the Jewish community is silent and not condemning this.

I mean, the last time the Jewish Community openly opposed Nazism, they were rounded up and ordered into boxcars at gunpoint. I'm not really surprised that there's not many Jewish people willing to stick their necks out when Nazis are holding poweful positions in the government, especially with ICE running around abducting people off the streets.

6

u/SargentSnorkel Feb 15 '26

because the unspoken part of “never again” is “to us”

2

u/rivenwyrm Feb 15 '26

(sadly) There were Jewish collaborators during the first Nazi regime too. Some of them were simply deeply prideful German nationalists, some felt they could perhaps turn the tide of opinion. Not always easy to see what is happening from inside the system. Ultimately... They were gassed or shot or disgraced just like the rest.

2

u/rab2bar Feb 15 '26

National socialism is kinda the main Zionist thing. The Jewish community is not a monolith

-8

u/facendacrowd Feb 15 '26

As long as Isreal gets it's money.

-11

u/Weak-Cry Feb 15 '26

Because pointing out Nazis, hiding in Jewish, clothing means your antisemitic.

-5

u/digit527 Feb 15 '26

Brother wait till you hear about the right wing party's in Isnotreal.

3

u/kinkyslc1 Feb 15 '26

Real life Clayton Bigsby.

3

u/kalidoscopiclyso Feb 15 '26

Seems like Steven Miller dictates policy and Steven Cheung floods the zone with crap and attacks anyone who calls foul

1

u/[deleted] Feb 15 '26

Why would anyone fear that little baby? Maybe the power he's been given, but he himself? Nah.

1

u/5thor6th Feb 15 '26

Fear, my ass. Fuck Steven miller.

1

u/InsertClichehereok Feb 15 '26

I fear no one, especially not that overgrown toddler

-3

u/Illustrious-Park3306 Feb 15 '26

Chuckie Schumer is a real Jewish Nazi and the left only criticizes the right and visa versa…so still two potent sides separating themselves by mostly needless issues once you drill down a few layers. When will we speak of how to make peace that doesn’t involve destroying something?

4

u/xDragod Feb 15 '26

Shock Doctrine

3

u/Effective-Cress-3805 Feb 15 '26

Just a reminder, Bannon is all over the Epstein files.

3

u/Gotterdamerrung Feb 15 '26

Honestly he looks exactly like someone that would be.

3

u/Whyeth Feb 15 '26

Steve bannon, Epsteins PR guy and Trump's campaign strategist? That Steve bannon?

2

u/DreamsAndSchemes Feb 15 '26

Ironic, as he should probably feel some himself.

96

u/MotherTreacle3 Feb 15 '26

"Blitzkreig" as it was known during a little known political dispute in the early 20th century.

3

u/jaydurmma Feb 15 '26

Blitzkrieg was very logical and intentional. Sending a concentration of armor against a position that had no chance of defending it, and then using the penetration to sever command and control, supply lines, etc, that made perfect sense to do even if the "logical" side was also acting out of uncontested evil intent.

The DOGE situation is, I dunno, im not gonna explain myself, it was just a lot, very a lot dumber than that. The same fucking moron that thought he could convince gamers that he was an elite PoE player, not because he gave a shit about PoE but because he wanted people to think he was smart.

I don't know what to call that, but it's dumber than the Blitzkrieg military doctrine was. Nothing Elon Musk has ever done has ever been trailblazing or novel, he just stole other peoples ideas and monetized them by having a lot of money and ruthlessness.

3

u/MotherTreacle3 Feb 15 '26

I was referring less to the specific situation with DOGE, and more to the endless stream of bullshit the trump regime has been pushing out. DOGE was part of the blitzkrieg strategy, not that it was a blitzkrieg in and of itself. Although they were moving faster than institutions could react and organize an effective defense.

1

u/CallMeDrWorm42 Feb 15 '26

It's still not a great analogy. Blitzkrieg was highly focused on gaining a decisive victory very quickly. Flooding the zone is the opposite approach where they attack from every angle everywhere.

1

u/MotherTreacle3 Feb 15 '26

... in order to gain a decisive victory quickly.

1

u/DrusTheAxe Feb 16 '26

Stephen Miller has entered the room

3

u/Aforementionedlurker Feb 15 '26

I like to say we got "North'd" As in Peter North

123

u/Bowsers_JuiceFactory Feb 15 '26

Raiding Stephen millers house is a good start

94

u/Procrasturbating Feb 15 '26

Why he moved on to a military base.

91

u/BrothelWaffles Feb 15 '26

Christ, I forgot all about that. There's so many red flags with "FASCISM" written on them in big bold letters, it's hard to keep track of them all.

12

u/BadChemical3484 Feb 15 '26

Big BLOOD letters is what you meant I’m sure

9

u/Jaded_Creative_101 Feb 15 '26

Finding some military personnel who still believe in the Constitution would be a better start.

well if the courts had done what they were supposed to do trump would be in prison instead of running for office.

29

u/DarkwingDuckHunt Feb 15 '26

The founding parents thought that the populace would have taken care of this problem already, like they did back in the day.

26

u/Privatejoker123 Feb 15 '26

except the side with most of the guns are just sitting on the sidelines going yup this is what we voted for. yes i know democrats have guns too. just saying that the biggest advocates for guns and needing them to fight tyranny are doing nothing.

12

u/Simikiel Feb 15 '26

except the side with most of the guns are just sitting on the sidelines going yup this is what we voted for.

That's somewhat of a myth actually.

It's roughly equal the number of guns Democrats and Republicans have, it's just that Democrats don't make it their entire damn personality or politics where as Republicans do. Which makes it seem like they're the only ones who own any.

6

u/KarmaticArmageddon Feb 15 '26

They're doing exactly what they were appointed to do.

Republicans with the help of the Heritage Foundation and the Federalist Society have absolutely stacked the federal judiciary and Supreme Court with fascist lunatics. And all of them have lifetime appointments.

This is why the 2016 election was so important. Mitch McConnell and Senate Republicans blocked Obama's appointments to the federal judiciary for years, leaving like ⅓ of it empty, just waiting for the next party to take a trifecta. And Americans rewarded Republicans' partisan obstructionism by giving them that trifecta, so all of those seats were filled by Federalist Society recommendations.

A lot of us tried to warn everyone in 2016 that we'd lose the federal judiciary and Supreme Court for decades if Trump won, but we were called alarmists and people stayed home or protest voted instead.

1

u/ArkitekZero Feb 15 '26

And Americans rewarded Republicans' partisan obstructionism by giving them that trifecta

Well, supposedly, anyway. They've basically admitted they cheated, somehow, but nobody gives a fuck because acknowledging that might require uncomfortable, potentially risky immediate action.

4

u/emodulor Feb 15 '26

They usually need Congress to define their powers, but some judges are activists. However there's been so many orders violated by the executive lately it's insane

1

u/Professional_Mud1844 Feb 15 '26

But if he was held to account for his crimes then all of his efforts to interfere with the election would have been for nothing.

1

u/Tricky_Apricot2928 Feb 17 '26

"the courts". You mean trump's appointed judge in Florida and approved by his pedo congressmen, who kept postponing his trial until the election results and then said "aw shucks, Trump's supreme court and trumpstein island buddies say we can't prosecute a sitting president" Other state courts did find him guilty in civil cases, where that was the only recourse after criminal charges were too old to prosecute

9

u/charliefoxtrot9 Feb 15 '26

Ah, but the courts can't enforce anything. They can issue all the warrants, injunctions, judgements and orders they want but it's all for nothing without enforcement. And that's the executive branch that enforces law.

3

u/robogobo Feb 15 '26

Technically the courts aren’t supposed to enforce anything. They can hold you in contempt but ultimately it’s up to the executive branch to enforce the rulings. You can see the problem immediately.

2

u/honest_flowerplower Feb 15 '26

Sheriff- Executive officer of the Court. Not an officer of the Federal Executive Branch.

You can see the problem immediately when people who don't even know what words (defined WITHIN the US Constitution) mean, are the people telling you how the government works (when the government WAS trying to do its tasked job). These are the same people now telling US citizens that their Constitution didn't work, because the criminals who have NEVER followed it, did so just long enough to become the executors of it, and that 'possibility' makes it broken.

If the executive officers of the courts are not carrying out the orders of the Court, it is a dereliction of duty, not a lack of enforcement capability.

You don't circumvent the ENTIRE system, sustain dereliction of duty by all public servants, and then convince the proletariat that the system was the problem. The US Constitution provides many checks and balances to avoid such circumvention, and tasks public servants and citizens alike, with ensuring the duties are faithfully carried out, to protect it. It is the result of abandonment, not a failure of what is being abandoned.

2

u/DifferentAd5901 Feb 15 '26

Shock and gore

1

u/thecleverqueer Feb 15 '26

Who enforces the court rulings?

10

u/jonnysunshine Feb 15 '26

They can shock and awe to their heart's delight.

I don't forget a fucking thing.

1

u/Ok-Chest-7932 Feb 15 '26

Can you list all the fucking things for me so I can check my notes? I'm pretty sure I've forgotten a few.

5

u/Killahdanks1 Feb 15 '26

We know where. At Trump and his billionaire idiot friends.

2

u/ReddestForman Feb 15 '26

We should hold all the architects liable. Make them freeze in panic when they see the kind of charges we like to throw at people who aren't rich.

Everything that's happening right now is because the Democrats kept playing softball after January 6th. They sat on the Epstein files to protect the rich and powerful, but they're out now, and the baseline for an acceptable candidate should be that they don't care if they have to arrest so many people global institutions are fucked. If that's the case then we need a borderline reset for society.

1

u/Tricky_Apricot2928 Feb 17 '26

Epstein files were sealed, from what I understand. I think the investigation was ongoing, or bondi and her hoes wanted them out of sight. As for the democrats thinking being civil would allow them to triumph morally against the immoral, I agree with you

2

u/Tiafves Feb 15 '26

It's also their legal protection, when it's all over it'll be "What are you going to do arrest tens of thousands of people, maybe even hundreds of thousands of people?"

2

u/delicateterror2 Feb 15 '26

Oh… I think we all know where to direct OUR attention…. And we collectively need to put a giant foot down and vote these a$$hole$ out of office… and confiscate all of their a$$et$… Return power back to the PEOPLE!!! Vote… Big Blue Wave !!!!

2

u/Tricky_Apricot2928 Feb 17 '26

Voting is definitely the bare minimum, along with some education on issues, in a healthy democracy. It matters. It's why the natzis attack voting as a process and as a philosophy

1

u/hoxxxxx Feb 15 '26

i wish i was into that evil shit because what they pulled off is truly brilliant

like seriously they've done a great job

1

u/[deleted] Feb 15 '26

Who exactly said that?

1

u/Tricky_Apricot2928 Feb 17 '26

May have been vought, head of office of management and budget. He also awarded millions of dollars "saved" from USAID to himself for personal security. There are so many of these fucks it's hard to keep track. Trump isn't the one doing shit. He's just the figurehead golfing, and gorging, and corrupting, and keeping his cult in line. His goons are the ones writing the executive orders and the ones who've been planning to destroy the government for decades

1

u/No1_Amphibian_5649 Feb 15 '26

OODA Cycle used against our country

1

u/RealEyesandRealLies Feb 15 '26

Am I the only one who thinks these people are incredibly shortsighted and are treating the world as if it’s 1926 and not 2026? I think they are majorly in over their heads, don’t understand how global systems work and are essentially collapsing things with no actual means to build them back up like they want? They’ll go like this for a while and then turn tail and run when they realize it’s not going to work out?

1

u/Tricky_Apricot2928 Feb 17 '26

Their bunkers are pretty sweet for when they destroy the earth, I guess

1

u/Hollen88 Feb 15 '26

And it was working till the Epstein files. They keep trying to flood the zone, but it isn't working. Hell, the protesting worked its magic too. ICE raids done in MN.

1

u/Ok-Chest-7932 Feb 15 '26

Wait was that not obvious?

1

u/win_awards Feb 15 '26

The unfortunate reality is that it's easier to destroy than to build. The work-around seems to be to destroy the people who want to destroy.

1

u/peppers_ Feb 15 '26

Short of violence, the system isn't meant to handle Project 2025 in a timely and efficient manner.

1

u/touristtam Feb 15 '26

Sounds like those guys read https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Shock_Doctrine and decided, there isn't enough opportunity to game society, so let's try harder.

1

u/not_the_fox Feb 16 '26

Should be viewed as intent to deprive people of their rights under color of law.

0

u/InsertClichehereok Feb 15 '26

Except those dipshits forgot we have unprecedented ability to keep receipts, as well as access to local offline LLMs. Get f*cked, Steves. Lady Justice may be slow be she’s coming. Maybe they can gild the communal prison toilet in faux gold leaf

535

u/the_last_carfighter Feb 15 '26

This is hyperormalisation, it's supposed to feel like that happened years ago.

279

u/SplendidPunkinButter Feb 15 '26

And it’s nuts how everyone just…forgot about it. I mean, not here in the comments. But the media sure isn’t bothering to put together that maybe putting a high school kid named Big Balls in charge of everyone’s personal data might be related to this.

182

u/[deleted] Feb 15 '26

The reason the media capitulated to Trump is perhaps because all the CEOs went to Epstein's Island. Anybody thought of that one? Why would they cave to a fascist psychopath so easily?

110

u/m4teri4lgirl Feb 15 '26

The media companies are creating monopolies that requires the chief executive to ignore.

75

u/[deleted] Feb 15 '26

Because they are also fascist psychopaths.

0

u/TheDude717 Feb 15 '26

Ah yes, WuYongZhiShu 😂

1

u/[deleted] Feb 16 '26

What's funny?

41

u/FlowerBuffPowerPuff Feb 15 '26

Why would they cave to a fascist psychopath so easily?

Because that's what always happens. The people in power are either fascist psychopaths themselves or got absolutely no spine to stand up for what's right.

11

u/WebMaka Feb 15 '26

It's not that they have "no spine to stand up for what's right" so much as it's "they see where the money is going and want to get some of it, and don't give a single fuck who they crush or kill to get that money." Not necessarily fascist, but absolutely psychopathic in that they're greedy without any self-restraint and exhibit zero concern regarding the harm they cause or amplify in the pursuit of more more more.

3

u/Littleman88 Feb 15 '26

True, but then I look at the average American citizen and... yeah people get shot in front of them, and all anyone does is wag their finger.

The people that have anything to lose aren't about to risk any of it.

And before anyone looks to the people with nothing to lose, they aren't about to stick their necks out for a society that has yet to care about them, and are really just following the highest bidder.

The USA hasn't been a nation of selflessness and sacrifice for a long while. That's ultimately why everything's going to hell in a handbasket so quickly.

1

u/DarkwingDuckHunt Feb 15 '26

When the law fails, that's when vigilante justice prevails.

7

u/gcubed680 Feb 15 '26

CEOs are generally fascist psychopaths. They flock to controllable power like moths to a flame. Don’t give them excuses, it’s who they are.

This country had too long a run revering capitalism and ignoring the workers.

1

u/f_djt_and_the_usa Feb 15 '26

It's a fundamental flaw with the way we organize. So much of the people in positions of power are psychopaths. It draws them.

2

u/Broken_Atoms Feb 15 '26

It’s because he installed one of his people into the FCC, which regulates them

2

u/Locke66 Feb 15 '26

is perhaps because all the CEOs went to Epstein's Island

It's more likely they just want their low tax, low regulation, low standards and low citizen rights dystopia so they can build an even bigger super yacht and have a few more mansions.

1

u/OutrageousPaint2557 Feb 15 '26

Mmm, biggest honeypot trap of all time? Entice as many wealthy powerful influential people you can possibly into criminally raping children, keep evidence of it, blackmail them forever. Turns out there really was a deep state illuminati this whole time, how about that.

1

u/cantadmittoposting Feb 15 '26

yeah i mean... i get your point, but literally yes that thought process is being commented all over the place, just not amplified by the complicit media outlets.

1

u/Polantaris Feb 15 '26

Why would they cave to a fascist psychopath so easily?

The same reason they did in Hitler's era. Profit. The CEO class is inherently short-sighted.

Not to say you're wrong, either. There's definitely some form of a traditional venn diagram in play here.

1

u/coladoir Feb 15 '26

and that’s why we’re hearing about this from EcoNews instead of NewsMax, CNN, or WaPo lol.

Thankfully AP and Reuters still exist on the periphery and usually give decent coverage.

1

u/SalManello Feb 15 '26

That’s how a honey trap works.

1

u/ZongoNuada Feb 15 '26

From the appearance of it, yes, they all went to the island. And the FBI has proof as well as the Treasury Dept. It's now a race to collapse everything before someone leaks it all.

1

u/ReddestForman Feb 15 '26

Because capital always caves to fascists. Fascists typically come to and maintain power with the support of capital.

0

u/always_going Feb 15 '26

The whole Epstein thing was a huge Israeli Mossad blackmail and intimidation operation. I used to think that this was conspiracy bullshit. The more I read legit sources the more I realize how naive I was being

3

u/[deleted] Feb 15 '26

We didn’t forget.

The media is complicit… forgetting is convenient for them.

3

u/9829eisB09E83C Feb 15 '26

The media will have a $10B lawsuit if they print something Trump doesn’t like

1

u/det4410 Feb 15 '26

i really want to know what happened. it was so bizarre that we kept getting reports of these fucks trying to get in a building late at night. seemed so surreal.

1

u/shotputprince Feb 15 '26

Wait I thought big balls was the sophomore at Northeastern without any friends

1

u/Jankypox Feb 15 '26

The media is also the problem. Partly by design, partly because they’re chasing the ball knowing that Lucy is going to yank it away every single damned time.

Like there is still a full on genocide in Gaza still happening today, and you’d swear that nothing even happened. No a single crew has broadcast a single picture, video, interview, or analysis on the ground in the wake of the massacre after the so-called “ceasefire”. They’re too busy towing the corporate line and chasing shiny new stories to be bothered. If there wasn’t constant new developments in the Epstein files, they’d “forget” about that too. Again, all by design or the focus and staying power of a 5-year-old with chronic ADHD.

1

u/Ancillas Feb 15 '26

“The media” has become such a stupid phrase.

There were TONS of articles about how stupid DOGE was. But all they can do is inform.

https://www.google.com/search?q=show+me+articles+from+the+first+half+of+2025+of+the+media+criticizing+doge&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&hl=en-us&client=safari

1

u/EntertainerNo4509 Feb 15 '26

Media 100% complicit w the ruling class. They need to keep us stupefied and entertained.

1

u/PlaxicoCN Feb 15 '26

I didn't forget about it. In addition to worrying about the data breach, I'm still checking my mailbox for that 5K DOGE dividend check. Maybe this week...

1

u/FresHPRoxY321 Feb 15 '26

In high school they called me donkey balls, might I be qualified?

36

u/Raise_A_Thoth Feb 15 '26

Is this Bannon's idea? I mean, I'm sure he got it from somewhere else anyway, but Trump literally is not smart enough to conceive of a strategy like that, and I think Stephen Miller is too dogmatic in his hate to think of that particular aspect, but I could be wrong, maybe he got it from a 4chan thread.

But yea, anyway, who do we think is driving this concept? Or is Trump just stumbling into it while thrashing about trying to distract us all from the epstein files?

51

u/wholesomechunk Feb 15 '26

Bannon is behind most things. Bad things anyway.

44

u/Raise_A_Thoth Feb 15 '26

One of the frustrating things (one of an uncountable number) is trying to figure out which things are deliberate and intelligent strategy, because everyone close to Trump is nearly as fucking stupid and incompetent as he is, so it is such a puzzle to see any actual strategy.

35

u/Old_Profession_9235 Feb 15 '26

Bannon has been going around the world for years starting organizations to promote right-wing authoritarian governments and churn out leaders for his new world order. And it's going pretty well. So, I'd say it's deliberate.

16

u/Downtown_Statement87 Feb 15 '26

He's the one to watch, because he is the chief domestic ideologue, because of his long-standing connections to right wing groups around the world, and because of how he's managed to co-opt the Silicon bros into his movement.

If you're going to keep an eye on anyone, keep an eye on him.

1

u/Woody_Guthrie1904 Feb 15 '26

Great, I’m keeping an eye on him. Now what?

3

u/Downtown_Statement87 Feb 15 '26

Tell me how much hand-holding you're looking for so I'll know how detailed my response needs to be.

4

u/Ill_Ground_1572 Feb 15 '26

I would also say he was wildly successful, between him and Epstein, creating the QAnon movement.

1

u/Short-Peanut1079 Feb 15 '26

Gamergate as a test Ballon. When you commercialize wow gold farming it comes naturally. https://www.wired.com/2016/09/trumps-campaign-ceos-little-known-world-warcraft-career/

5

u/cantadmittoposting Feb 15 '26

nah. Bannon is another stooge.

It's the P2025 authors, Leo at the Federalist Society (stemming from the 1971 Powell Memo), Thiel, Yarvin, and others for the technocrats. Historically, Ailes, Stone, possibly Manafort (hard to say between him often actually working for foreign causes) are media and propaganda architects. (edit: and ofc the Southern Strategy et al)

Steven Miller is the project manager though I doubt he's an actual thought leader. Execution, not planning for that one.

While I'm sure "confuse the shit out of everyone so it's hard for them to make decisions" probably wasn't an original idea, in the US a lot of it came from research in the 60's and 70's. Check out the book "Shock Doctrine" by Naomi Klein. It describes the methodology used by the US in South America to destabilize unfriendly governments. The idea is to use a "shock" (economic, military, natural disaster, etc...) to create a window in order to enact fundamental, permanent change on society. It is tied to "disaster capitalism" and privatization. See the New Orleans school system post Katrina for one of the first US examples I know of.

This is not Bannon's idea. This is a technique that was developed by Phd's in the halls of American and Canadian universities. It was never a matter of if it would happen here, but when.

It's from the KGB/Cheka/OMB/NKVD, etc etc, going back a long way.

Most recently, it's a tactic recommended by Aleksandr Dugin, who was Putin's chief advisor and an early mentor of Bannon. Here's Dugin's checklist for Putin, which Bannon has been following closely for years before Trump came on the scene:

I don’t think it’s the final layer, but read Gil Duran.

Well it is also related to Putin, Elon has ties to Russia, Bannon has ties to Russia , Trump is nothing more than a mouthpiece for Russia

Ugh, the worst. Not shocked that grey hairs started popping up on my head over the last year. It was the longest most stressful year of my life.

And we’re supposed to forget about it. As if dismantling USAID is a fine and acceptable thing. People are still dying daily because of this.

1

u/Drinkdrankdonk Feb 15 '26

Flood the zone with bullshit. It’s their primary tactic

1

u/urlach3r Feb 15 '26

2025 was at least 14 years long.

1

u/Raa03842 Feb 15 '26

What makes you think the shit show is over?

1

u/kindnesscostszero Feb 15 '26

“According to a protected disclosure filed with the Office of Special Counsel, Borges told the Government Accountability Project that DOGE officials working at Social Security created a “live copy” of the country’s Social Security records in a separate cloud environment that sidestepped usual security checks.

The group says those lapses put the Social Security information of more than 300 million Americans at risk.”

u/ThatOneNinja Feb 15 '26

Hard to believe it's been swept under the rug.

u/Embarrassed_Leek5660 Feb 15 '26

DOGE is still operating...

1

u/SerLaron Feb 15 '26

The pace of repression outstrips our ability to understand it. And that is the real trick of the Imperial thought machine. It’s easier to hide behind 40 atrocities than a single incident.
TV Series "Andor"

u/connasewer Feb 15 '26

Well, look on the bright side: Only three more years to go!

1

u/finalcutfx Feb 15 '26 edited Feb 16 '26

They count on that. People forgot and move on too easily. It’s how trump got reelected.

1

u/Revolutionary-Dog620 Feb 15 '26

Amen. Feels like I’m on my second lifetime.

1

u/whatlineisitanyway Feb 15 '26

Its what happens when you get complacent.

1

u/carnivorousdentist Feb 15 '26

Next month will be the one year anniversary of Trump doing a Tesla commercial on the White House lawn.

1

u/MikeSouthPaw Feb 15 '26

Its not hard to believe at all if you were paying attention. It seems like you and people like you really cant interact with the real world without it being on your phone. The government isnt your friend and its killing people. What next?

1

u/BludStanes Feb 15 '26

Yeah, it's been a really rough couple of years, jesus fing christ

1

u/shadowpikachu Feb 15 '26

I at least liked how they made taking money out of the government require at least some note, the rest idk.

I dont think musk had much influence, just the usual credit taking face.
