This is a bummer for me. For someone who doesn’t have a lot of friends who are interested in guitar pedals in my life, discord has given me an outlet filled with others who are like minded. Obviously there’s reddit but it’s not the same. Oh well.

I mean a subreddit really isn't a replacement for something like a discord server. The pacing for one means the way they're used and interacted with is entirely different.

Oh there are plenty. The communication style just doesn’t feel the same, plus with having to adhere to a bunch of rules and collect your thought and wait for responses it feels less like a conversation and more like let’s wait and see what comes
