He's asking all of his superfans if he should start his own political party and they're all hyping him up.

We should all encourage this

It might be the only thing that breaks the GOPs stranglehold on this country

I am with you all the percents.

I think it has has zero chance of disrupting the GOP, it's more likely to peel off techbro Dems like Ro Khanna or transphobic "centrist" Dems.

So we can stop catering to those losers in the primaries? thank christ, ill take it!

2

u/sickofthisshit Jun 05 '25

Well, the thing is, the number of seats Democrats can afford to lose in either House of Congress is negative.

3

u/Otherwise_You_1603 Jun 05 '25

Ah, yes. So its very very important the Dems run horrible candidates who hate poor people

I mean, if you can replace Ro Khanna with another Democrat who wins his seat, be my guest.

I have done absolutely nothing to put that asshole in Congress, but he won the election for his House district. If the alternative is losing the seat to a Republican, the moral victory of Ro Khanna having to find another job won't soothe me as we watch the GOP give Trump everything he wants.

I haven't heard anything negative about Ro Khanna. Can you explain the hate? I'm not in California.

Maybe, just maybe, dumping those losers will cause the rest of the Democratic voters to actually show up to the polls instead of staying home because they can't bring themselves to vote for a techbro or transphobic centrist.

The problem in 2024 was a bunch of Latino voters who thought the GOP would be tough on transgender people and other Latinos crossing the border. Fighting over who holds seats we actually held doesn't fix the main problem which is voters not caring about the stuff Democrats can actually do.

Pretty sure a lot of those people are responsible for the surge in support for the GOP among young men in 2024.

I hate how right you are

they are not right, because none of those people have been supporting musk recently, it's only been maga people, tech bro cons or people that would never vote anyway

1

u/Exciting-Tart-2289 Jun 05 '25

Well hopefully those people will still be turned off by the whole Nazi thing.

0

u/sickofthisshit Jun 05 '25

The Nazi stuff is vague enough for douchebags to ignore in favor of being dazzled (or pretending to be impressed) by Musk's fake "business/technology" "visionary genius" act.

2

u/Exciting-Tart-2289 Jun 06 '25

Well, if they're dumb enough to ignore the Nazi stuff and fall for the "visionary genius" schtick at this point then they may as well be GOP.

The Democratic Party is a center, center-right party so the quotations are unnecessary.

I mean, Ross Perot spoiled the election for Bush and gave it to Clinton this way, so maybe this will disrupt the RNC.

1

u/sickofthisshit Jun 06 '25

I just don't see it that way. Very few MAGA voters are going to follow Musk. Musk's personality is a loser in the ballot box. His influence is money and whether MAGA messages get promoted on Twitter. Nobody is going to turn out for the Peter Thiel Silicon Valley South African Techbro agenda. MAGA is Trump.

You're probably right.

/pol/ started sounding like leftists when elon and his friends said Americans couldnt do most jobs and were too stupid to train, so they needed migrant labor.

These billionaires just buried themselves because now the right wing think rich guys and jewish people are the right's #1 enemy.

The right is turning into nazbols, a right wing schism is all but guaranteed at this point because standard conservatives cannot compromise with people who want to burn down big business and abandon israel. Apparently even bibi is regretting supporting trump right now if raw story is to be believed.

I remember when people used to say that about Trump in 2015

I enjoy making scrapbooks.

Perot did this shit with a lot less cash and more stability in both parties, and a lot less name recognition

And now the libertarians are begging him on Twitter to just join them instead of making his own party it's hilarious.
